United KingdomA perfect little country pub stay with a personable service from hosts Louise & Martin. We chose this accommodation to stay the night before a day at Snetterton race circuit which is just 7 mins up the lanes from here - nowhere is closer! We arrived early evening on a Sunday and kitchen was closed but Martin suggested we could get a take away in and even provided us with cutlery and crockery - very accommodating indeed. Rooms were out the back in converted stables, lovely and clean, comfy and a quiet nights sleep. Will 100% stay again, thank you very much.

NetherlandsElena is an exeptional friendly host and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Having to leave early to catch the ferry from Harwich she went beyond and prepared me a tastefull breakfast to go, accompanied with a note to thank me for my stay and wishing me save travels home. I realy appreciated that. She and her family put a lot of effort in errecting this comfortable B&B in an old barn, so much is obvious.

Decor clean & fresh.large, comfortable room with good ensuite. Rural views from both bedroom windows. Super comfy bed with beautiful linens.
Excellent choices for breakfast, cooked to order, tasty & hot, as well as colourful fresh fruit salad, quality yogurts & cereals.
Nice loft room with large windows overlooking farmland, facing west so perfect for enjoying lovely sunsets late evening.
Host Andrew was very attentive, informative & ensured we were very happy.

Two pubs in East Harling, one with limited opening hours.
Two pubs in East Harling, one with limited opening hours. The food menus looked good but I didn't eat there. The Nags Head sold a lovely pint of Timothy Taylor. Great butchers, a local store, fish and chip shop, sandwich/cake shop and pharmacy + no doubt others I didn't see.
Anyone thinking of visiting East Harling should be aware taxis are like hen's teeth, so rare as to be almost non existent. I went to the English Distillery 2 miles out of the village and wanted to get a taxi back at 12:30 on a Saturday. I called the local taxi company and was told the next available one was 18:00!!!. Uber do not cover that area.
The English Distillery nearby has tours and a nice selection of select, special whisky. Tours are available (note comment about taxis).

Lovely location on edge of the village with lovey views over the surrounding countryside . . Very welcoming warm friendly host .A home from home lovely comfortable room . Large bathroom with walk-in shower .
Lovely garden to sit and relax in . Breakfast was excellent .

The location seemed fine when I booked Sunset House.
The location seemed fine when I booked Sunset House. Having the Nag's Head within walking distance was great for dinner. But we wanted to vary the restaurants where we ate and ended up as far away as Thetford. Not a big problem, but something I should have foreseen. Otherwise, the location worked well for an exploration of Norman and medieval churches.

Our host, who owned the B & B, was exceptionally charming,...
Our host, who owned the B & B, was exceptionally charming, knowledgeable and efficient. Only 3 guest bedrooms are available, and breakfast was served in an open plan kitchen/diner - our host introduced us to the other guests and whilst cooking our delicious breakfast made sure that we each felt welcome and that the conversation flowed well.

Fantastic location for us East Harling is a lovely well located and serviced village
The property is compact and bijou but takes nothing away from it being beautifully clean, with everything you need at hand. A small supply of goodies welcome you also. Loved the outside area ,the weather wasn't suitable for sitting outside on this occasion, but imagine it's very peaceful on a summer's evening.. Overall I would re-visit should I be in the area again. and totally recommend to anyone. First class 5* out of 5

Myself & my wife have just returned from a peaceful weekend break at Sunset house, absolutely fabulous host & the loveliest hotel. We were made to feel so comfortable by Andrew on arrival, he was so accommodating & nothing was ever too much trouble!
Hotel was immaculate, & also in the perfect location too. Definitely one of the best stays & weekend breaks we’ve had in a long time.
Thank you for everything Andrew, you are the perfect host Absolutely fab!

Great location - probably the closest B&B to Snetterton Circuit. Price far cheaper than other local hotels. Big choice for the included breakfast. Run by the friendliest couple you could ever hope to meet. Very busy though so you will likely need to book far in advance.

Having choice of pillows. Amazing breakfast. Breakfast was served on proper table cloths and was laid as good as a five star hotel. Andrew was a brilliant host.
