Weather was awful arrived very early but room was ready and we were allowed to check in nearly 4 hours early. Hosts were very kind and made us feel very welcome. Very comfortable and clean. Hosts very accommodating nothing was to much trouble. Food was very good. Home from home. Tranquil and calming place where we recharged ourselves to continue our journey. Perfect

We absolutely loved it here, the owner was so welcoming and lovely, the facilities and pods were so well thought out. As soon as we left we talked of plans to hopefully return! We stayed here during the nc500 and it was by far our favourite. Thank you so much!!

From arrival to leaving was a great experience glamping for the first time. A really warm welcome and farewell from kevin as he should me through the pod and what's around nearby as well. Ashtonishngly well thought out glamping pod that exceeded my expectations. Perfect for solo trips & for couples on highland getaways and it's on the iconic NC500 route!

The location was great - very peaceful and lots of "extras" such as fire pits and an honesty trailer where you could borrow or buy items needed. Also, the host Kevin was excellent, extremely informative regarding the area and whatever we might need.

It's basically a train station, a hotel, a tea room and a few private properties There's an rspb reserve and lookout tower. It's in a beautiful location but if you're expecting anything other than the middle of nowhere Scottish village you might be disappointed

Peaceful remote setting surrounded by nature.

Peaceful remote setting surrounded by nature. Ideal if you want to get away from it all. The drive to local shops is about 45 minutes so plan ahead. The cottage was warm and cosy. You can arrange trip to Orkney via John O'Groats. An excellent way to see orkney with great commentators who tell you the fascinating history. We enjoyed popeyes restaurant.
