It was fabulous, good value for money, room spotless, staff were lovely. Meals are huge and tasty. Great using local produce you can really taste the quality. The beer garden and play area for the kids was outstanding and although we didn't bring our dog it's super dog friendly and was great seeing one at breakfast! We had a room with a balcony and the view of the wheel and the small waterfall was just beautiful. Would 1000% recommend

Easy and convenient check-in by collecting the keys from the pub bar. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, making for a relaxing overnight stay. We've stayed here before and were happy to return. The pub has a welcoming atmosphere and the rooms are well maintained.

Beautiful property. The rooms are well appointed. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the rooms had several small touches that were so appreciated. Carafe of mild k for our morning coffee and fresh cold water was waiting for us. Everything was immaculate. We came into the pub early and had a wonderful lunch and Kater ate dessert while have a drink to wind down before the end of the evening. The breakfast provided was quite good as well. Lastly the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. We will be back again.

Everything about this place I love the rooms were beautiful food incredible, perfect after a long walk in the peaks, highly recommend there Sunday lunch lunch, heard about it before and it’s the best in Derbyshire! staff brilliant too brilliant everything you need for a weekend away in the countryside

This is a gorgeous cottage and the garden is stunning. WE sat under the pagoda even in the hottest of weather and it was most comfortable, Steph left a wonderful welcome hamper with bread, butter, wine, milk....the list goes on!. The property was clean, beds comfortable and location right by town. We will stay again. Must mention check out time, 11.00 which was most generous and appreciated and great communication too.
