Beautiful landscaped grounds. Excellent room, great shower, comfy bed, good breakfast. I stayed in a large courtyard family room for a bit more space and comfort. Excellent value.

it was quaint with beams, crystals and artistic lighting.

it was quaint with beams, crystals and artistic lighting. Good kitchen. lovely garden. lots of little touches. Calm, warm atmosphere. We liked the pub but didn't eat there. but it was friendly and cosy. The village shop was shut by 6pm so cant comment. We ate at home so as to enjoy the space and we were very comfortable. Lots of seating in the sitting room. We had problems with the sitting room fire ( and Im an experienced fire lighter as we have them at home). It didnt draw very well. There may have been a problem with the chimney . But we were still warm enough and had a lovely time. We want to book for longer next time!

We only stayed for one night, so did not really explore Fyfield Stayed at the Black Bull, that is a really friendly and welcoming place to stay and nice pub for drinks. Went for a meal and drinks at the Queen's Head, food delicious and staff very friendly, professional and efficient. Lovely pub for food and drink and ambience.

l liked the venue, but did find the bedroom rather "cell"...

l liked the venue, but did find the bedroom rather "cell" like. However, it functioned well for a good nights sleep. Very comfortable bed and facilities. Lovely evening meal options and very substantial Full English breakfast available at a reasonable extra cost. l would recommend as long as you were not planning to stay in the room for a long period as there is not a view from the room.
