This hotel is excellent. We loved the room - it was very large and the bed was very comfortable. We had a mini bar included and it was replenished each day. If we ever come back to Glasgow, this will be the place where we will stay. Love it!

The single room was really nice, but the bed is only suitable for someone who isn't very tall. The Wi-fi is fast. The bathroom is very big and the communal living room is beautiful. The lady, who runs the hotel, is lovely. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are provided if required, there's also a communal mini-fridge for visitor use. Despite the hotel being on a main road, the area is very quiet. On coming to the place, there's an electronic entry system. I had never seen before. It's electronic and hand sensitive so initially I struggled to get in. You have to wave over or gently touch the black screen, before the entry screen comes up and then you put your pin-code in. I recommend this place. It's not in the tourist centre, but there are public transport facilities, cafes, supermarkets and restaurants. If you're waiting for a train, just pop into the local library a minute away. It is mostly a residential area. The train station is a 5 minute walk away, there are buses that go across Glasgow. The Burrell Collection is only 2 stops away at Pollackshaw West and that line goes directly to Glasgow Central. There are 2 trains every hour.

My mum and I had a wonderful stay at Giffnock Rooms.

My mum and I had a wonderful stay at Giffnock Rooms. The location is excellent, with everything you need nearby and a great restaurant just across the road. The property itself is beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we chose one with an ensuite for extra privacy, which was perfect. We also had a peek at the shared bedroom, and it looked absolutely wonderful too. Communication with the owner was great.

It was easy to find on the main road through Giffnock and only a 5 minute walk from the railway station (15 mins into Glasgow Central). Ideal. There was off-street parking in front of the house and I was met with a friendly welcome. I actually had a choice of rooms as well. The room was spacious for 2 people complete with en suite. Everything looked very new and freshly decorated. Ideal location for trips in and around Glasgow city as so close to the main stations and downtown.A

The bed was very comfortable and the facilities in the room were satisfactory. I had a nice dinner in the hotel with my cousin and the staff did not try to rush us. There was a good selection of hot and cold items on the breakfast buffet.
