The staff were amazing. Thank you. They stored our bags, as we arrived early. On check in, they offered my daughter a glass of juice. They helped us carry our bags upstairs. Everyone was just so lovely. Thank you. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money.

Beautiful 400 year old inn!!! Loved the food, drink, and accommodations. The staff made sure we were warm and well fed when we spent a day indoors while storm Eowyn shut down the country - lovely to have a hot drink inside and watch the wind and rain from inside the cozy pub

Attention to detail. Gary was welcoming and so accommodating after we arrived late due to a highway closure enroute. I liked the vintage touches in the room like the turntable! Luxurious towels and bedding too.

Our 4th stay at the Waterfront.

Our 4th stay at the Waterfront. Lovely room, comfortable double bed with bedside cabinet, easy access wardrobe, great roomy chest of drawers, lovely little desk space and chair with tea and coffee making facilities. Very clean room and bathroom. Great shower. Excellent sea view lovely watching the boats in and out and the cruise ships. Great time watching and joining the anglers on the harbour wall, hungry little seal stealing ghe fishermens catch! Fabulously clean and fully equipped kitchen, great space to eat and socialise with other guests. Lots of space for groceries and cooking. Staff are lovely and accommodating, very helpful with information and bits and pieces. Very close to shops and amenities, had a lovely wander through town and shopping mall. Considered a quick game of bingo at Club 3000, or catching a film at the waterfront complex. Had a lovely snack and coffee at the waterfront cafe. The local Wetherspoons (James Watt) was great for a quick meal and drinks but lots if local eateries very close by too such as KFC, Pizza hut, McDonalds, Chinese, Fish and Chips etc. Shops close by are Lidl, Tesco, Morrisons, Farmfoods, Home bargains and many more. Brilliant place to spend a few days or more, fabulous location and lovely and clean all at an affordable price.

There's a lot of history in Greenock from the docks to the...

There's a lot of history in Greenock from the docks to the sugar factory and lots else, also my wife grew up there, so there's a lot of personal memories too. There are great views from Lyle Hill and Tower Hill over the river as it becomes the Firth of Clyde. Just watching the cruise liners depart is interesting. There's a lovely esplanade to walk along. The town centre is what you'd expect these days, but not too bad, but there are some nice pubs and restaurants to eat in. The west end of Greenock is the more residential, and 'upmarket' end and quieter. The town and east end, shows the history of the town and the industrial heritage it once had. I'd recommend Tonino's Pizzeria and

Within easy reach of Glasgow, Greenock has to be one of the...

Within easy reach of Glasgow, Greenock has to be one of the most beautiful coastal areas in the West of Scotland. It has everything you could need and the people are so friendly. Just along the coast for the equally stunning town of Gourock, with ferry services to Dunoon and Kilcreggan. I highly recommend this lovely town for a short or longer visit.

Location of hotel was grate pubs grate we went to museums churches saw the waverley boat and others went to sailors monument the walk along river was grate would definitely go back Chinese food and Witherspoon grate value people were friendly aswell would go back to waterfront hotel if we had hot water everything was walking distance away

Greenock is fine but dreadful bus station.

Greenock is fine but dreadful bus station. I was robbed by a very incompetent laptop repair shop hotspot in town centre 20 GBP for 5 mins work and job not done. The lady in charge of the waterfront took my laptop personally and got it fixed. Great service.

Interesting grand architecture.

Interesting grand architecture. Visited when Queen Anne cruise ship was docked which helped to imagine how it must have been during its ship building past. Friendly and interesting place, post ship building community.

Whilst the hotel was obviously a little old it was well looked after. The room was lovely and the bar was comfortable. Breakfast was basic but we knew about that beforehand and it was perfectly adequate. The night porter / barman was really friendly. He was chatty without being overbearing and certainly knew plenty about the local area. The breakfast staff were also friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely stay, the flat is very spacious and well appointed - the decor is lovely and well thought out. The sofas in the livingroom were very comfortable and the mattresses too. The flat had everything you would need and a few extras we didnt expect. The location is fabulous right in the centre of greenock and on the main road to Gourock.
