The age of the hotel, so old but well maintained. Such a pleasure to sit in the lobby and enjoy. Bar and restaurant on location and very good food. Glad we picked this one....

Cheapest place I could find for the start of my John O Groats to Lands End bike ride was able to keep the bike in the room which was two rooms one with bed the other with coffee and tea and a nice seating area next to the bathroom which was very clean. When you look at pictures the building looks old and run down but the insides are very nice and for the price I was very happy indeed
