Amazing location, my room was actually right by the estuary with the water lapping at the veranda at high tide, fyi some rooms don't actually face the estuary. Nice to be woken by the honking of Canada geese (it was quiet honking as the double glazing does work).

What a fantastic place to stay while visiting Hayle. The two floor cottage was extremely comfortable, spacious and well decorated. Equipped with a working kitchen (sharp knives!!!), we felt we were staying in a true home vs a 'hotel'. Great location that was in walking distance to grocery stores, local restaurants and cafes. The SW Coast Path is nearby as well. We experienced no noise despite being close to the train tracks. This is definitely a unit you will want to stay a while.

This is one of the best bnb's we have stayed in for a long time. Everything has been thought of. There are real glasses. There is ice in the freezer. There is shampoo and conditioner. There is a full-length mirror that doubles a makeup mirror. The bed is super comfortable. The TV works and the wifi is excellent! Ad on top of all that, there is a small Irish Pub for your exclusive use. We absolutely loved this stay.

I had a very disappointing experience staying at this Airbnb. The property was dirty when we arrived, and they didn't provide even the most basic essentials. There was no toilet paper, washing-up liquid, bin bags, or cleaning supplies. If you accidentally spilled something, there wasn't even a cloth or anything available to clean it up. I ended up having to buy everything myself. I stayed for four days, and the house was full of flies the entire time, which made it very unpleasant. There was also no fan or air conditioning. It was unbearably hot, but opening the windows wasn't really an option because insects would come inside, making it difficult to sleep. The staff were not helpful at all whenever we needed assistance. Overall, this was one of the worst bookings I've ever made for a holiday. It turned what should have been a relaxing trip into a frustrating experience. I will definitely not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Getting around Hayle is easy.

Getting around Hayle is easy. Nearby St Ives is a must to visit. We tried Penwith Crazy Golf and Football Golf which was fun even in a shower!! Local Wetherspoons is a must for food and drink and reasonably priced. The sea is clear but beware when the tide is out it's a long walk out. A beautiful spot to visit

Hayle is a good base to reach other parts of Cornwall but it has very beautiful beaches that are unspoiled and not too busy If you like to walk and like nature, Hayle is the perfect place to stay. Gilberts Beach Bar is a good place to go after a long walk on the beach for a drink a a bite to eat. We used the train from St Erth to St Ives to prevent the stress of parking. Highly recommended 👌.

Hayle beach is huge and beautiful.

Hayle beach is huge and beautiful. Easy to visit St Ives, St Agnes, Levant Mine, St Michaels Mount, Trerice and many other lovely places a short car ride from Hayle. Even the south coast of Cornwall is within easy reach. We thoroughly enjoyed it but imagine it can get very busy in the summer.

I loved the quietness of Hayle, choosing to seek independent venues for food and experiences. I took the bus to St. Ives, staying on the smaller beach by the bus station in St. Ives rather than face the crowds. The weather was quite good for October, and my dog and I sat and watched the half-term holidaymakers and locals enjoying themselves. Hayle is very quiet with a few independent traders. I enjoyed a lovely cappuccino and smoked salmon bagel at Fletchers Deli, looked for quirky gifts in Hayle Emporium and visited Old Foundry Chapel, selling delicious homemade food (called Nourish) and a gift shop nearby (Lucy Kemp Jewellery). The beach in Hayle is vast and fantastic, with miles of sand and beautiful views. I'll definitely go back & explore some more as I was only there for a few days. If you prefer a quieter outlook, Hayle is low-key and very conveniently located for visiting other parts of the coast as well. Will definitely go back & can't wait.

Hayle is an excellent area. Lots of things to do. Great shops, pubs and restaurants and excellent food outlets. The Philps Pasties and Bucket of Blood Pub burgers are the best we have ever tasted. The beach is stunning and the town is a lovely area to walk around..
