Amazing place, we loved "genius loci" of this old-time coaching inn. Its location in the old town could not be better. Andrew gave us a warm welcome and led us to the room. We really liked the comfortable beds, white, clean bathroom with continental faucets, wide selection of in-room teas and hearty breakfast (choice of several hot meals instead of buffet was a pleasant change). Willingness of staff exceeded our expectation!!! My daughter, who traveled for top sport event was injured. For many reasons I was unable to arrange transfer to hospital myself. Completely desperate I call the hotel. I reached the bar in very busy hour (they just had a big event there), however the guys began to act immediately - they arranged couple of taxi transfers for us, provided enough of ice for cooling and all of them have been very supportive till the end of our stay. My daughter appreciated very much the pep talk of the gentleman from housekeeping (btw. providing very attentive service). Thank you for all! We will definitely come again next year.

Beautiful cottage type chalets. It was ideal for a half way overnight stay, whilst going on holiday. Excellent facilities. The buffet type breakfast was excellent. Lots to choose from. You can pay for a cooked breakfast which looked superb. Thank you. Will definitely stay again.

The initial room I was given was not very impressive but there was an issue so I was moved to a new room. The new room was considerably better than the room initially assigned. I think this is interesting given I was using Booking.come and was suppose to be afforded a nice room. The 2nd room was quiet and had a better view, plus the bed was much more comfortable.

The hotel staff were helpful, and our room was clean. The hotel is in great need of updating, as it clearly was once lovely but now looks shabby and tired. It was closely situated to 2 pubs where you could get meals at a discount if you were residing at the hotel. The hotel restaurant wasn't doing meals other than breakfast.

Close to the Grand Union canal, with a lovely.pub with good food there. Easy access for wheelchair users and there is a lift to take you.upstairs to the toilets Only.approx 12 miles from Harry Potter studios, which was AMAZING! Easy journey there too. The rooms are adequate and clean. With an excellent shower! There is a lift to all floors, and a few disabled car spaces in the car park. Therefore good for disabled visitors. As.we.were.mainly.There for a visit to Harry Potter Studios we didn't have time to explore the rest of the area.

The Old Town of Hemel Hempstead was lovely.

The Old Town of Hemel Hempstead was lovely. Our primary reason to go was to visit 66Books which didn't disappoint. The White Horse pub in Bourne End was great, food was lovely, as were the staff. Also the Three Horseshoes in Bourne End. Canal was lovely to walk along - mostly very clean and very popular.

The Receptionist at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I am a little concerned with the noise that the radiator made in the room 121. However it was an enjoyable experience overall and we have book to stay there again.

Hemel Hempstead is a very nice town Wirth excellent shopping facilities and food parking charges. There are a numb er of attractions within easy travelling distance and of course, not far from London and all that it has to offer.

If you use the pool then towels are provided. Ironing board and iron in room along with hairdryer. Hotel quiet, bed comfy. We ate in the restaurant and the ginger and chilli lo mein noodles was amazing. Chuldrens food was lovely and everyone ate everything which is a massive compliment for my children!!!! Thank you

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Me and my partner recently stayed at this lovely apartment in Hemel Hempstead and really enjoyed our time here. The property is modern, clean, and very comfortable, with a super comfy bed and all the appliances you might need. It even has a beautiful terrace where you can relax outside. Valentina is a wonderful host, always quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area!

When we arrived we were informed we had been upgraded to a premium room. The room was great and had lots of space and the shower was fantastic (not always the case in hotels) and the bed was comfy and had a good nights sleep. Breakfast had a lot of choices and was really good and all the staff from check in to breakfast and checkout were really friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if back in the area.

We were super impressed with the Holiday Inn Express. On arrival there was an issue with the toilet in our room, however we were immediately given another room without any fuss. The room catered for all our needs and is designed cleverly to make good use of the space available. Plenty of choice at breakfast and a nice location overlooking a canal.

The continental breakfast included in the price was excellent with a good selection of food. All of the staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel itself couldn’t be in a better position so convenient for the train station of Hemel Hempstead and also by car which I used.

Parking in the hotel car park and checking in went well, the water mill is pretty and there is a decked area outside by the water where you can sit and have refreshments. . Our room was clean. The staff were helpful.. The checking out system was efficient and easy.
