Really quiet. clean property, looks like recently renovated with quality furnishings and equipment. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. The place was spotless and had character. It was so nice to wake up and hear birdsong. The property owner was extremely approachable and helpful; she was flexible about key collection to fit with wedding arrangements and was very helpful in giving directions when we had got lost! I will definitely come to this property again.

The bedroom was very clean, warm and comfortable. A big bonus was having TWO armchairs so that my wife and I could both sit comfortably and watch TV. The meals we had at The Olde Windmill were excellent and breakfasts were cooked to order, which was great. The best feature of the Olde Windmill Inn is the staff. They are smiley, happy people for whom nothing is too much trouble. Overall, an excellent experience.

The White Hart is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are perfect with everything you need for a short or long stay. There are wonderful decorative and personal touches throughout. The owners are super helpful and accommodating for anything you need and the pub is just outside with amazing food. It is a very quiet and cosy place with great views from the pub patio. I cannot wait to return here in the summer.

It was perfect. We were staying in Swaffham for a friend’s party. Location was very close to the centre of town. All fittings and facilities were really good quality. The only thing missing was a liner for the kitchen bin so we used a carrier bag instead - didn’t want to make a mess! Thanks for a great stay.

Probably the most dog friendly property we have stayed in with a well maintained and secure garden plus some useful information provided by the owner. The cottage had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, the bath/shower room was spacious and the kitchen was also well equipped. It is situated in a quiet residential area but with easy access to the main road for exploring the region. The woods and grounds at Lynford are well worth exploring although Lynford Hall Hotel is closed the Shepherds Baa Cafe is a great place for refreshment for walkers and is also dog friendly.

Had terrible experience here.

Had terrible experience here. Aweful, disgusting and wouldn’t even put it on your website. Really rude staff. No where to sit and relax as rude staff kept saying the tables were taken when it was empty in there. PLEASE PLEASE avoid this place as you will be very disappointed and waste of money. Spoilt our anniversary

Ideally situated to visit other places in Norfolk.

Ideally situated to visit other places in Norfolk. The coast - Wells near the Sea was great. National Trust properties in the area - Blickling Estate was well worth the money. Gooderstone Water Gardens is definitely worth a visit if you want some peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting. The Swan has a great menu and is particularly good for gluten-free choices. Friendly staff too.

The Swan was a very clean inn with comfy beds and great staff. Bathroom very small and shower needs updating. Static shower could not be adjusted and was too low for a tall person. Breakfast could have been hotter but the dinner was excellent with large portions. Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Puppy was made very welcome. 😀

We stayed for 1 night at the swan.

We stayed for 1 night at the swan. The restaurant and pub were very nice and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The food was good too however the accommodation wasn’t the best. Our room was very small. The runner and cushion on the bed were dirty and we had to leave them on the floor. The duvet was too small for the bed, just about meeting the edges of the mattress. The room was cold and the radiators wouldn’t come on. The bathroom had mould round the shower. Overall an unpleasant stay.

Really good coaching inn ,convenient position, good food and friendly staff. Room small but clean and had all we needed at a good price. Only negative was the noisy customer leaving at 5:30am so not the hotels fault. Close to Oxburgh Hall and other places of interest.

The Swan is small, but has character.

The Swan is small, but has character. It is well maintained, clean and provides all you need for an overnight stay, or as a base for exploring. Don't be put off by the main road. At night it is very quite, in fact almost silent. The menu is limited, but everything we ate from it was very good. The breakfast is the perfect start for the day. The North Norfolk coast (which is well worth a visit) is less than an hour away. Avoid the main roads, and use the coast road from Kings Lynn to Cromer. Lots of beaches, wildlife and greats pubs/ restaurants.

Sue and her husband are brilliant hosts and The Dolls House has been beautifully restored to a very high standard. For the price of a good hotel room elsewhere the Dolls house gives an excellent alternative stay. A beautiful well equipped kitchen leads through to an immaculate sitting room with a large Tv. Upstairs there is a big bedroom with very soft carpet and a huge bathroom. Everything is to a very high standard. The Dolls house also has outdoor seating and is set in a lovely garden and is very private.

We ended up at the Swan because the hotel we had booked cancelled on us at short notice - this venue didn't do that, so full marks for that. The pub looked nice, but we didn't eat or drink there as we were making our trip for a wedding. The staff were friendly. We got the number of beds we'd requested and check-in and check-out were smooth enough. The facilities were all in working order. Cheap - which is always nice.

I didn't stay in the hotel myself, I booked a few rooms for some family members. I needed early check in for some rooms, and a couple of times the number of rooms I needed had to change. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful, they were amazing, took the stress out of trying to arrange this part of our wedding. The guests that stayed loved the hotel.
