United StatesEverything about this Inn was exceptional ! Our room was just lovely and beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast and dinner there and they were both excellent. The village is charming and there are peaceful trails right from the village for a morning stroll. This was our favorite place to stay!

Approach to town was interesting over the hills, beautful!
The town was lovely even though it rained the whole time. An excellent stop for hikers and cyclists. Not a place for shopping. It's a place to step back in time and enjoy the surrounding beauty and feel the history.

We were really lucky with the weather and managed to have a lovely walk round the village on the Saturday morning with our best friends who had never been to Kettlewell. We showed them the cottage we stayed in on our honeymoon in 1990! We explained about the scarecrow festivals we'd been to over the years. We also told them about the walk we did up Cam Head over the top to Starbotton many years ago and remenisced about previous visits.

Beautiful village with 3 pubs.
Beautiful village with 3 pubs. The best restaurant is by far the Blue Bell. Also, do check out the Fox & Hounds in Starbotton and the Buck Inn in Buckden. Both are also excellent pub restaurants.
Watch out for Tyson the bull when walking by the river! He turned out to be perfectly benign but still gave us a startle!

It's a classic Yorkshire village: clean, quiet, unassuming, 'pure Yorkshire', beautiful, the sound of running water as it nestles in the dale watched by the hills and cliffs. The church is worth visiting too. All in all, a gem.

Beautiful dales village with pleasant walks on your door step, the village has three pubs all offering accommodation and food.
Perfect base to tour the dales with the majority of must see locations within a 40 minute drive along some of the most scenic roads and country lanes in Yorkshire.

Kettle well gets too touristy on a weekend but midweek is idyllic, really friendly village, plenty of parking in village,2other pubs if you fancy a change (bring your own flannel though as bluebell doesn't provide them and village shop is a bit sparce,owner of shop lovely though,worth going in just to chat to him

Lovely old house in a perfect location. Kettlewell is a delight with cosy local pubs. Great views. The house is really spacious so it’s great for a large group without people falling over each other. The games room is brilliant and large and comfy! Kitchen has everything you need. We were a group ranging from 0 to 80 years and the house was suitable for kids and adults alike.
Communication and information from the hosts was faultless. It was all very easy.

Very friendly and helpful staff team. Breakfast and evening meals were both wholesome and the portions were generous - ideal fodder for walking in the Dales! There was persistent drizzle on the day of our stay, but the staff helped us by tumble drying our very wet walking clothes ready for the following morning. Perhaps this was only possible because the hotel was not too busy, but it allowed us to have a comfortable second day of walking in Wharfdale.

Everything! Updated house to such a high standard throughout. Log burner a great feature, garden area fab. We have just had a Mon to Fri stay so weather very changeable and cold but the house made up for that. Many thanks for wine and gifts from host. Kettlewell is beautiful and accommodation very quiet with great parking

We were met by a young girl who made us feel very welcome, arrived a little early but room was warm and ready ,the views were amazing and so peaceful, breakfast was delicious and served in good time ,michael was friendly and made us feel welcome ,Kettlewell is a time warp and unspoilt,
