Cosy rooms with some antique furniture items (we had a chance to stay in 2 rooms). Every room has some basic equipment that we found useful - a kettle with a selection of tea and coffee, a hairdryer, an iron with ironinng table. The bar / gastro pub downstairs is lovely. Nice breakfast. Great location, calm neighbourhood with some shops and restaurants a few minutes away.

We really enjoyed the place itself - beautiful building, pub and restaurant below, classic "old London" design of the lobby, stairs and rooms. In addition to that, spotless room, with everything you need, close to Elisabeth line station (which is direct to Heathrow airport and to London center), fine beer in the pub, helpful staff, and a very good breakfast (several hot options plus "continental" buffet). Will definetly stay here again when in London.

I really liked this hotel. It's a bit out of center, but the tube station is only a few blocks away and that's why the place isn't as expensive as other London hotels. The area is nice. The staff is really nice. The lady who checked me in helped me with my luggage and stayed to explain how the A/C worked. The bed was comfortable and though I stayed in one of the smallest rooms, I still had room to do a bit of yoga. Good wifi. I really have no complaints.

Lovely area and Kew Gardens are spectacular.

Lovely area and Kew Gardens are spectacular. We walked for the best part of a day around the gardens, lots to see and we were blessed with the weather. We did >15,000 steps so put aside more than a half day. We thought the selection of food in Kew Gardens was fairly poor and would take our own if we went again.

Main reason to come to the area is Kew Gardens.

Main reason to come to the area is Kew Gardens. I could have stayed two full days at the gardens, but due to flight delays, only spent an hour there. Kew area is very cute. Great neighborhood to stroll around looking at architecture. We ate dinner at a restaurant overlooking the trains. Didn't get the name. It was lovely. They offer the traditional braised beef in a puffed pastry, a must when visiting UK.

Easy access to the district line.

Easy access to the district line. The public transport is very good. the district line provides quick and reliable service to Central London. If you are not going to use the Tube too much don't get a day pass. The most you will be charged for travel is about £11. If you are planning to use the system a lot get a day pass it's about £17. Plenty of good food places to eat. Richmond is within easy reach and buses run all night.

Kew is a truly charming area with a welcoming, village-like feel. Its leafy streets, beautiful period homes, and relaxed pace make it a wonderful place to spend time. The highlight, of course, is the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens, offering peaceful walks and breath-taking scenery. Kew also has a lovely selection of cafés, pubs, and small shops that add to its warm community atmosphere.

The location was perfect for visiting Kew Gardens. Close to the station, a short walk to the Gardens. Friendly staff, room nice. There was a classic bar downstairs that was sadly never very full when we looked in. The locale around had some good shops and cafes. We visited on a very hot day (August 2026) and there was no aircon and the room was up several flights of stairs at the top of the building, no problem to us but would put some people off. With the window open and a fan we slept well.

We arrived during a storm. The flat was warm and comfortable tea bags coffee and FRESH MILK were provided . Very welcome . Our host gave us great directions to get there from Kings Cross. The flat had everything we needed . We normally stay in hotels but there were plenty of cafes and small shops nearby for food . Great location 5 minutes from Kew Staion . Would definitely stay here again.
