It's a fantastic hotel I really couldn't fault it at all. Fantastic views of Lough Eren. We had food in the hotel both nights and it was lovely. The first night in the cellar bar we had fish and chips and it was top notch. Second night we had our dinner in the Belleek restaurant for my wife's birthday and it was beautiful.Great selection of cocktails and drinks on offer with the most comfortable seats in the Water gate bar . The breakfast both mornings we had a great view of the Lough and the attention to detail from the staff was very impressive. We did the stairway to heaven which is a half an hour drive away and we came back to a beautiful dip in the pool as well as the outdoor Jacuzzi . There is also a steam room and a sauna. Definitely going back and I will make sure to bring the golf clubs and book the spa treatment well in advance.

Mahons is a lovely hotel with genuine and friendly staff and is a welcome change from franchise hotels where we were greeted with warmth and personality from the staff. The bar area and indeed the hotel itself is full of interesting collections of antiques and memorabilia and I spent hours looking around at all the different peculiarities. Service was great, room was spacious and clean and I loved every minute

Apartment was exactly as described. Starter coffee and waters were there when we arrived. Met host in car park and he gave us great suggestions on nearby hikes as that is what we were interested in. Butcher shop downstairs had excellent meat for us to cook dinner. Location was perfect for walking to nearby pubs in the evening.

We recently stayed at this glamping pod and absolutely loved it. It’s a very private spot with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside — perfect for a peaceful escape. The pod had everything we needed for a short stay, including a well-equipped kitchenette and an amazing recliner sofa that made relaxing so easy. Everything was spotlessly clean and finished to a high standard. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat.
