Great location in the heart of Stamford. The room was very comfortable and well designed, with many thoughtful ideas. The bathroom was luxury with beautiful toiletries and good quality towels. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast with Al a Carte choices. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the space inside, easy parking outside and access,...

Loved the space inside, easy parking outside and access, decor and especially the comfortable and convenient tech for entry door (keyless), lights, windows (r/c) and shower (hi-tech!). Seems a lovely village, surrounding area beautiful on foot, bike, car. I really only slept at the barn as a stay over for a swimming event. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Wansford particularly pretty with decent food and beer at The Paper Mills, as recommended by Anna, my host. Would like to have spent more time in Stamford, Oakham and Oundle, next time!

Lovely quiet location and very convenient for the...

Lovely quiet location and very convenient for the surrounding area. We visited relatives, favourite haunts in Rutland including Barrowden and Rutland Water also Lincoln. We ate out locally on night of arrival at the Cross Keys which was good and in easy walking distance. The history of King's Cliffe is very interesting too.
