I was only visiting for a couple of days but Kings Langley has so much to do and see and caters for all but if you fancy a few hours away and relax a bit then pop down the road to Chipperfield. There's a lovely old pub, Two Brewers, which has good menu's and very tasty food and looks out across the village green. If you fancy a stroll there's a great wood by the green with well marked and maintained pathways and plenty of wildlife to see and hear. They have their own cricket club and the green is a hive of activity. If you have children you will find plenty of room to have a kick about with a ball. Alternatively you can sit outside the pub, with a coffee or something stronger, and just watch the world go by.

If you and your partner want to have a drink at the bar and forever be waiting for a member of staff to not be available, pay daft prices for a drink, sleep on 2 singles pushed up beds pushed up together when you pay for a double bed, get woken up by a knock on the door for housekeeping then pay £114 for a night all yours. Just don’t look at the pictures of the hotel you probably won’t even see half of it when you turn up. They use that for events otherwise your room is the other side of the building to see the rest. The rooms are just standard too nothing special.

The staff were really polite and helpful. The room was nice and tidy and clean, the bathroom was the only let down with the tub having no plug and the shower head was spraying all over the place with low pressure. The food was excellent and not over priced.

The staff where amazing and the hotel was so fascinating with its historic background and Tudor style rooms. It was so unique and cheaper than chain hotels. Breakfast was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. The room was spacious and modern with still vintage Aesthetics. Beer garden was lovely and private aswell as facilities round the front and the bar was very reasonably priced. Cant wait to stay again.
