Everything! Host has really gone above and beyond with this property. Extremely comfortable. Beds and pillows especially. Lots of TVs if that’s important to you. Luxurious bathrooms. Spacious. Private gate entrance is very nice. US size fridge (rare), provides paper products etc which isn’t always the case and amazingly there is an open bar. The host Stewart was exceptional.

Great location with interesting views and fantastic access to walking trails. The rooms are nice and provide everything needed. The restaurant and bar are well stocked and comfortable. I will recommend to both my friends and family in the USA as well as my local family in Scotland.

With the canal running straight through the town there was...

With the canal running straight through the town there was ample opportunity to have a stroll & many cafes, bars etc for the weary traveller. The Park at the bottom end of town was lovely & the war memorials & historic connections Appenine Wall, Romans etc was interesting. The large children's play area was busy & the children seemed to enjoy the facilities. The main street is quite long & the variety of shops was very pleasing with virtually now boarded up premises.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It is very quiet, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you might need. The location is excellent – central yet peaceful. We stayed here for a week while attending a family wedding and visiting relatives in Kirkintilloch and Bishopbriggs. One highlight was walking along the canal to Bishopbriggs, which is easily doable and even more enjoyable with a stop at "The Stables" pub along the way. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic friendly hotel only a couple of miles outside Kirkintilloch which serves superb food. It also has a really lovely bar at the back of the hotel which has a great friendly atmosphere and serves amazing food. All the staff in the hotel and attached bar are amazing.
