Lovely place to stay for 1 or 2 people but any more and you will get in each others way. It is as advertised. Everything you might need is close by. Did not find the information folder for information until 2nd day. It would have been good if it had been out on the table on arrival

A nice town with small shops and a market on a Friday and Saturday. Not the biggest to walk around but still pleasant, though it can be very busy with traffic. If you are travelling by public transport, make sure you work out where the bus stops are and do not wait and the timetable panel by the bakery as buses do not pick up there, even though it looks somewhat like a bus stop. Go through the entrance near the antiques shop and there is a hidden garden and then a gate which leads to walks with views of the countryside and the railway.

Didn't visit Langport, but Somerton was very nice.

Didn't visit Langport, but Somerton was very nice. Situation was good for visiting Street, Glastonbury, Yeovil etc. Many National Trust properties nearby, Hayes Motor Museum was very good. Avalon Marshes for Birdwatching also close. Plenty to interest many tastes around the area.

Not a lot to say about Langport other than it is a great start point for some excellent cycling in South Somerset. The main road through is very busy for such a small high street which makes browsing unpleasant. Good carpark facilities. The best thing is the bakery and cycle shop at the bottom of the town by the bridge - excellent pastries.

Langport is a lovely place, although the location was not actually in Langport, even though it was described as Langport, the property location was in Aller, a few miles away from Langport. Langport has a good variety of local shops and a lovely riverside walk near the shops.

Langport is a lovely place.

Langport is a lovely place. Plenty of shops including a fish and chip and a nearby Tesco, and 2 very impressive churches and a super river with a very walkable footpath. It's a great place in itself but it's also a good base for visiting nearby attractions such as the Abbey etc.

Hosts were lovely, very welcoming. It was lovely being able to sit outside in a beautiful quiet garden. Full kitchen and more space than you get in a hotel room.

Older style coaching hotel, in a historic town. We stayed in our way to Bath, to meet our daughter. Wished we had the day to explore the town. Will be back.
