Nice town and area, lots to see and do. Ferry ports to visit near by islands. Loved it.
We visited Millport on the island. Ate at the golf club, was really delicious,highly recommend. Lovely friendly people.

A trip to NARDINIS is a must for ice cream!
Easy access to ferry to Isle of Cumbrae.
Well worth a visit.
Unfortunately there is a lot of dog poo on pavements despite plenty bins.

Largs is my favourite seaside resort. I never tire of it.
Largs is my favourite seaside resort. I never tire of it. A walk to and from the Pencil monument is a must for humans and dogs alike. Or carry on a bit further to the smart Marina
The sea shimmers in all weathers, but under a blue sky, with the ferries gliding to and from the Isle of Cumbrae and white yachts sailing by, this dear old town does the Firth of Clyde proud.
To name only a few of its attractions: Friendly shops and cosy tearooms, (the famous Nardini’s is still gloriously popular) and there are restaurants for every taste, with a special mention for Tinto’s delicious tapas). Buses or trains close at hand and two putting greens…something for everyone.

The perfect Western Scottish coastal resort.
The perfect Western Scottish coastal resort. Stunning views, friendly people and everything you could wish for. Hourly rail access from and to Glasgow, which can be reached easily by train from anywhere in the UK. Top notch, I keep coming back.

Have visited Largs a few times and it is much more lively...
Have visited Largs a few times and it is much more lively this time. Plenty of places to eat, a good variety of shops and places to browse. Very friendly people, easy access to cumbrae ferry terminal. Nice sitting areas and grassland for picnics. We are usually there to visit close family so havent made use of its facilities.

Plenty of places to eat and drink, a wide variety of shops, excellent bus service too. We are pensioners' and we managed, so I think families would enjoy Largs and take a trip on the ferry to Milport they run very regularly. We enjoyed our 4 days in Largs and are planning to return, to the same apartment, if possible in September.

Room was spotless and well decorated. Lots of home comforts included and the personal touches you don't get with larger hotel groups. Good selection of food for breakfast. Fantastic hosts, very welcoming. Ideal location for exploring Largs

Hotel was only a short walk to the shore via a side street and only a 5 minute drive to Largs town centre. Breakfast and evening meal choices were superb and reasonably priced.
