Awesome staff great little bar attached for some games and a few drinks after traveling all day long very nice easy going people would 100% recommend.

I was in a room on the second floor at an adjacent building from the main building of this hotel complex. There were 4 rooms on the 2nd floor accessible by stairs. The bed was comfortable and there was a separate bathroom in the room with a bathtub. There was a plexiglass protecting the one side of the bathtub to prevent water from splashing out. The hot water was plentiful, and the water pressure was very good. The breakfast was typical Scottish style breakfast and was excellent. It was freshly cooked on the spot and the coffee was made on order (machine made and tasty!) The complex is right next to the Drumoig golf course and there was a deal for a "stay and play" which was very attractive in terms of pricing.

The Newport Inn under new ownership since January is certainly different with an excellent location, good car park and very welcoming management whose policy seems to be judiciously cautious by focusing on offering good comfortable accommodation, hire of public rooms for Events and running an active bar attracting local clientele. Whilst management are clearly ambitious for the future, they are limiting risks by not offering meals at this early stage but there is an excellent Bake shop within 100 yards which serves good cooked breakfasts and a great place for dinner only another 100 yards further on with a terrace positioned for sunsets across the River Tay. I will definitely stay there again if visiting Dundee area.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and the property itself was very fancy, with elegant decor and a luxurious atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well maintained, with all the amenities we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help and make our stay more enjoyable. The breakfast was exceptional — fresh, delicious, and offering a wide variety to start the day perfectly. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would be thrilled to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience.

The whole hotel was just beautiful! From the gorgeous signature scent in the reception area, to the very helpful staff, and the quality of the room and dining areas. The breakfast was absolutely superb! We loved that we could order a memory foam pillow, which was delivered quickly by the staff. An absolutely first rate stay!
