What's not to like! We arrived 3 hours early and from the moment we messaged Laura and Bohotel to request an early check-in to the hours after we checked out we were treated as lifelong, dear friends. No exaggeration, no paid review. The Bohotel's accommodations exceeded every expectation we had - the rooms were spacious and clean, wifi was accessible, reliable and fast, the food was top tier, life stuff/questions which came up over the course of our stay were addressed and resolved immediately - but it was the people that made it perfect. Laura, Sharon, Isaac - absolutely everyone associated with Bohotel, Suburban Green (the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel) - treated us like friends who also happen to be hospitality professionals passionate about their vocation as hospitality professionals. I don't often write these reviews but this is an exception I'm delighted to make. The review writes itself. I can't recommend Bohotel more enthusiastically.

These hotel rooms are in a facility that hosts a golf course and swimming pool/gym which is open to local residents. They were fairly standard, corporate hotel rooms. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Plenty of parking. Easy access.

Oh, I could wax poetic for quite a while about my stay at The Legh Arms. I absolutely loved it. I was staying for 6 nights to attend physical therapy in a nearby town, while also having to work remotely on a big project during the mornings and evenings. I wanted somewhere quaint, quiet, and relaxing, but with easy access to 2 meals a day, a pint if needed, and morning walks. The Legh Arms delivered on everything! I am currently experiencing mobility issues, so being able to just pop downstairs after a long day for an incredible meal and/or a pint was amazing. The breakfast that was included was also amazing!!! Big, hearty meals if needed before therapy was incredible. If I needed any little snacks or an easy meal, the Coop grocery was just a minute walk away. I think the real pleasure was the staff. From the person(s) checking me in/out, helping me get a cab back to the airport, the housekeeping staff, to the servers and bartenders in the pub... they were all incredibly friendly, laid back, and knowledgeable. 10/10 on everyone who worked there. Also, I wasn't too nervous about staying above a pub - but in that respect, I never heard a peep. The pub was very relaxed and more formal/dining than a corner pub/bar. Room was immaculate, bathroom and room were both large. I loved it!

Pleasant historic market town on the edge of the Peak...

Pleasant historic market town on the edge of the Peak District. Some excellent pubs and restaurants in the area although some of my favourites have closed over the past few years. Recommend Ryles Arms and Cock and Pheasant. Excellent area for walking with some beautiful views - White Nancy/Kerridge, Macclesfield Forest and Goyt Valley. Easy access to the Peak District National Park with many places for walking and scenic beauty.

Macclesfield offered a peaceful and charming atmosphere.

Macclesfield offered a peaceful and charming atmosphere. The hotel environment was excellent — clean, serene, and surrounded by nature. We experienced great comfort throughout our two-day stay. The spa facilities and breakfast were delightful, and the staff at reception were polite and welcoming.

Macclesfield has a real personality, history and character.

Macclesfield has a real personality, history and character. One Sunday a month they have the Treacle Market, but it was cancelled due to Storm Bert. The silk museum was also closed, which was disappointing, so it could be worth another trip. We were only there overnight but felt a really pleasant vibe. It's set in a hilly landscape, and you are constantly reminded of this when looking around as you walk round town. Stunning.

We lived in Macclesfield over 18 years ago, and got married there, so this was a nostalgic trip. The town has become quite trendy in the intervening years with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Good to see some of the old stalwarts such as the Waters Green Tavern are still there and refusing to become even the slightest bit trendy!

A good base to visit Peak District. Shopping centre in decline. Local bus services in decline but possible to reach Hayfield and Buxton. Plus very good train service to Manchester, London, Birmingham etc. Some good eateries - especially excellent Plums Kitchen.

Lovely little cosy terrace property cottage type, had everything you needed. The owner was really accommodating with check in times too. Love the little touches so it looks homely. Has little garden you could sit out in in warm weather too. Beds very comfortable. We were visiting family over Christmas holiday who live in Cheshire Macclesfield. The lady left all details of places to visit, takeaway services, places to eat or local shops. Taxi service very good too of the numbers the owner left. Really enjoyed it would stay again.

This is an amazing apartment. Great size, with everything you would need. Well looked after and cared for, and within the perfect location. The centre has plenty of shops to roam around, you are down the road from the train station so you can venture out easily and parking (although needing to pay each day) was easy once I learnt I could do it online. Being close to the church and hearing it chime made this stay for me. It felt very homely and I would love to stay here again.

The hotel is warm and welcoming on a cold, damp Cheshire evening. Staff are excellent, checking in no problem. The room is well appointed with a very comfortable bed, shower/bath with plenty of fresh towels, soaps, shower gels etc. Added bonus it was in the perfect location for my purposes. The is an excellent bus service from Macclesfield almost to the front door.

The cottage had a lovely atmosphere, cosy and quiet. Clean, kitchen well stocked. Good location, about 15 mins walk into Macclesfield centre, but felt like you were in the countryside. Good base for exploring the area. Would recommend a visit to the silk museum and tour of Paradise Mill next door.
