It's a lovely place to stay.

It's a lovely place to stay. Friends of ours stayed there 3 years ago and recommended it, highly. They said the food was great but shame that wasn't available to us, maybe next time eh? I will recommend you without question.

The two bedroom house was good,the kitchen was fully...

The two bedroom house was good,the kitchen was fully equipped,two walk in shower rooms, could do with comfy chairs in the lounge. Resident Peacocks, Guinea Fowl,Ducks and squirrels happy to give an early morning wake-up call. Desperately needs a restaurant on site.

The place is welcoming! Our 1 bedroom house Was spacious and had everything we needed. A lovely peaceful place, with peacocks roaming!! Recommend for couples and families. Not much in terms of restaurants nearby, but we self catered so it was ok Shame the restaurant is not open anymore! Main purpose was a relaxing few days away…it worked!!

I liked the apartment which was clean, tidy with well equipped kitchen, dining/living and bed rooms, walk in shower and comfortable beds. Me and family loved the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, my only gripe was the sauna and steam room were not in use due to maintenance. Staff were all friendly and helpful and there was a handy shop to buy essentials.

The staff are friendly and the rooms and apartments are large and comfortable. Also they are reasonably eco friendly. Lots of niggly problems. First room they put me in was one I stayed in earlier this year. We had complained about it then and they haven't fixed a thing, the flooring is badly laid in bathroom causing trip hazard and there are sharp bits poking through flooring. No other rooms available so I had to upgrade to an apartment and pay for the privilege. The water is extremely hot and despite taking all precautions I was scalded whilst in shower because the cold water just stopped. Maintenance were upgrading the TV settings one day but actually left loads of rooms worse off. My bedroom TV failed completely, along with several others that I heard of. The franchise that ran the bar and grill pulled out recently and shut abruptly. As the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, it is vital they get this up and running again. In the meantime they've booked a series of takeaway food operators to run pop ups on site.q

We absolutely love this place most definitely has the Wow...

We absolutely love this place most definitely has the Wow factor we will going back again soon all the staff very welcoming helpful and nothing to much trouble we stayed in a two bedroom house which was amazing spotlessly clean and very comfortable for the four of us next time I’m going for a romantic break so only the two of us spa is fantastic and the restaurant food was amazing so overall brilliant break well done Woodford 👍
