The welcoming staff on arrival & the friendly locals we were made to feel very welcomed. The rooms are immaculately clean & decorated to a high standard with toiletries in the bathroom. Complimentary of tea, coffee & biscuits. Nice touch having a small fridge & hairdryer in the room.. In the main hallway, a small kitchen for guests to use, microwave, toaster, plates & cutlery, also iron, etc. Well stocked corner shop across the road & Sainsbury's or Morrison's down the road a few minutes drive away.

This place is faultless ! :~ the staff, the cleanliness, the care, the spaciousness, ambience, comfort, amenities, ... All, Everything is Wonderful, one of the Best places I've ever stayed in & I travel a lot ! Immaculately spotless whites, bright, light, clean, fresh, usually quiet with shared kitchen & ensuites, fridges & fans in rooms + TVs, sinks, kettle s, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, body & hair wash, hairdryers, towels, bedding, chairs, desks, free safe parking, within short walking distance into town & shops, it's got everything you could need or want & at the most competitive affordable prices !!! ... Shared use of kitchen with 2 fridges & a freezer compartment, cooker, oven, hobs, washing machine, clothes airer, iron & ironing board, kitchen sink, crockery, cutlery, pots & pans, ... !! ... I've seen an example of the single room, I personally wouldn't choose it as feels very narrow, confined & basic & have exclusive use of an external shower room with personal key but I prefer the twin room with lovely big bay window with ensuite shower room on the first floor or double room with ensuite would be my next choice but depends on your budget as they are tiered in price. ... Katherine the young lady who assists with check-ins, bookings & any problems, is Super, Wonderful, Very sweet & extremely quick & responsive & she does everything perfectly, politely & efficiently, she is lovely & Very Good !! Thank You All who run ISuites,, the owner & the cleaners are all exceptional!!

Lovely room, good amount of space. The kitchenette fits a fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave and sink into a small neat space. The refurbished room was pristine, the bed comfy. We stayed here in an emergency as our boiler had broken down and we needed to escape our very cold house. Our room was warm and we were able to have a hot shower and a comfortable night, and a hot meal at the Lymedale Bar and Restaurant next door.

Plenty of places to eat and drink in the town and the...

Plenty of places to eat and drink in the town and the minigolf in The Clubhouse is quirky and fun. Trentham Gardens is nearby and well worth a visit for both the shopping village and the gardens. Brampton Museum is also nearby and is a great place to visit - it has a small aviary, a small steam train, a cafe and an outdoor play area as well as lots of interesting things in the museum itself. Free parking and no charge to enter, but donations are welcomed.

Newcastle-under-Lyme is a functioning market town with a nice array of bars restaurants and shops. It is in quite a hilly area, so be prepared to get some good exercise! The bus links to Hanley and Stoke are excellent, but it can be a bit confusing where to catch your bus from if you are not local. Buy a Smart Day Ticket if you plan to catch more than one bus in a day. There is a thriving night-time economy at weekends, but the age range is predominately young. The centre is in a built up area, which like areas of similar size has some undesirables. I was hassled outside a grocery store slightly outside of the centre by a unkempt character that requested money. Please don't let this put you off though. He soon moved on when I declined.

Booking.com does not have correct info about checkin after...

Booking.com does not have correct info about checkin after 6pm, it is possible via lock box though booking.com says no check in after 6pm. The surrounding does not seem safe on a weekend after 6pm to a new comer, no barriers for parking etc. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Restaurant staff is helpful but Restaurant looks tired and old

Picked this accommodation as it was close to where I was working. The rooms are very well refurbished and comfortable and clean. There is a small kitchen for guests to use and a fridge and hospitality tray in the room. Good quality tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water provided. Check-in was easy and secure. Chris the manager is very helpful. The pub does not provide food but suggestions are in the information pack. Any music in the pub downstairs finishes at 10pm. Good value for money!

Not much to do here and fairly run down like any other city...

Not much to do here and fairly run down like any other city in the Midlands, but have enough facilities if you visit nearby places like Trentham Garden or Keele University. Fairly good connection by bus and private vehicle, but a bit difficult to arrive by train (need to arrive at Stoke-on Trent station and need a bit of bus ride).

Liked There was everything you needed at hand .... the kitchen was small but compact , there was cutlery , frying pan , pan and plates microwave, hob ... tea , coffee and sugar but NO milk had to go shop down the road and buy it. Reason was because of covid , but all other hotels I've stayed does provide this ... bathroom small but convenient, shower basin wasn't cleaned ! Small sofa was fairly comfortable... THE BIGGEST ISSUE WAS THE BED . WAS 2 SINGLES PUSHED TOGETHER, very shocking and a bit dangerous I thought , there was a big gap in the middle , i love to toss and turn at night but kept waking up so didnt get hardly any sleep for my 2 night stay . my boyfriend who lives near by ended up going home instead !! There was no where to eat on sight either , I will not be using this hotel again ....

A very nice hotel, clean and spacious room. Very good breakfast and evening meal. The staff, both at reception and in the restaurant area, are excellent and took interest in me. Pleasure to speak with. At check-in, there had been some hiccup from the booking agency but the receptionist (Ilda) was very reassuring that I would be getting a room (just when I was getting worried). I would definitely stay there again.

This is a lovely little hotel (or, rather, a pub with bedrooms upstairs although the entrance is separate). The rooms are clean, comfortable, well-equipped and quite recently refurbished. There is a shared kitchenette with toaster and microwave (handy for breakfast) and a fridge in the room. The staff are very welcoming. Downstairs is a working pub with a good selection of beer. There is a car park.

The room was clean and spacious and comfortable, with some intriguing extras such as old paintings on the wall, a large rubber plant in the room, antique furniture, lots of books to read and a teddy bear on the bed. There was also a very useful writing desk and chair. The hotel was very convenient for the town, just a short walk away.
