Accomodation exactly as described, in one of the nicest parts of Eastbourne. Great communication from the host, and I had no issues accessing the accommodation by myself. Would stay again when I next visit family.

Beautiful old hotel right in the middle of town and on the water. Hotel has had a wonderful upgrade - bright crisp rooms and bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Parking was easy as well, but might be more difficult in the busy season.

Love our stay! We were lucky to receive a room upgrade with a beautiful beach view. The room was spacious and looked like it had just been renovated. The location was also very convenient, with a bus stop right next to the hotel.

It's not actually the "old town" of Eastbourne, it's Meads,...

It's not actually the "old town" of Eastbourne, it's Meads, which is a lovely area very close to the foot of the downs. It's often referred to as Meads village and there are some lovely places to eat. Restaurants and cafes as well as a few nice shops. You can get most things you need there. If you want Eastbourne town centre it's not far away and there's a good buss service or you can just stroll along the lovely seafront.
