Jenny, the host was delightful. She was so thoughtful, kind and considerate. I arrived as a wet cyclist. She sent me off to shower while she put out my wet clothes in the washing machine and made me tea and home made cake.

Very attractive structure, with a wide car park, and very quiet thanks to the surrounding park. Some fittings will need renovation in the future, but the services were great, meals were fresh and tasty, and all staff was friendly and professional.

What Guests Said About St. Agnes:

St. Agnes is not a typical seaside town unlike many of the other nearby towns just up and down the coast, which are less interesting - but it is just 20 mins walk from Trevaunance Cove which is a small sheltered beach with plenty of facilities. St. Agnes has a rich history in the Cornish mining industry, and a great centre to explore the rugged northern coast. It has a centre with restaurants, pubs and shops with a bit of (but not too much) beach vibe. The Tap House was our favourite restaurant which "taps" into this vibe! It's a short walk from the town to get to the South West Coast Path, and paths to the Beacon for outstanding views of the area. Just be prepared for all weathers. Nearby towns of interest are St. Ives and Padstow, both about 40 mins drive. Be prepared for tricky parking and crowds during the high season, even during school term-time.

A cute little town with an abundance of walks up the Beacon, down to the beach and along the coast. Some great eateries especially “Rooted” a mega cool cafe with exquisite coffee and foods. It was lovely chatting with the locals.

Have been visiting St Agnes since early childhood so quite a few decades, I am happy to see it has hardly changed over the years although has spread outside the village considerably. If you like a quaint uncommercial stay it has lots to offer restaurants and pubs all serve good food, beach is good for surfing but expect a hilly walk from car park!

St. Agnes is still very much a lived in village.

St. Agnes is still very much a lived in village. It is quite spread out and hilly, and the pavements for walking are narrow. There are lovely beaches near by and wonderful walks. The cafes and pubs are friendly.

St Agnes is a beautiful north Cornwall coastal village in stunning scenery. So many great places to eat and shops to get essential supplies. Beaches and picturesque walks abound nearby. Parking could at times be tricky (peak season mainly), but there are several car parks in the village. There is a very good bus service to/from the village. Great places for food and to eat include the St Agnes Bakery, Shellfish Beach Delli, Tap House, St Agnes Hotel, Fission Chip Shop, The Cornish Pizza Company, Driftwood Spars, Railway Inn and many more.

St Agnes is a charming town with a beautiful coastline. The coastal path is quite steep but the views are lovely - well worth the effort! The beach is sandy - great for children. The beach loos were very clean. The local people are really friendly and the award winning pub definitely deserves its recognition. We ate there three times. The bread from the local bakery was delicious. The two cafes we visited were very good and reasonably priced. I would definitely visit again.

This hotel is just a short walk from the beach and offers stunning views. It’s a very peaceful spot, ideal for relaxing or taking long walks. The staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and professional at both the reception and the bar. Breakfast was good, though for a 4-star hotel, it could offer a bit more variety.
