The whole hotel was just beautiful! From the gorgeous signature scent in the reception area, to the very helpful staff, and the quality of the room and dining areas. The breakfast was absolutely superb! We loved that we could order a memory foam pillow, which was delivered quickly by the staff. An absolutely first rate stay!

I was in a room on the second floor at an adjacent building from the main building of this hotel complex. There were 4 rooms on the 2nd floor accessible by stairs. The bed was comfortable and there was a separate bathroom in the room with a bathtub. There was a plexiglass protecting the one side of the bathtub to prevent water from splashing out. The hot water was plentiful, and the water pressure was very good. The breakfast was typical Scottish style breakfast and was excellent. It was freshly cooked on the spot and the coffee was made on order (machine made and tasty!) The complex is right next to the Drumoig golf course and there was a deal for a "stay and play" which was very attractive in terms of pricing.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and the property itself was very fancy, with elegant decor and a luxurious atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well maintained, with all the amenities we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help and make our stay more enjoyable. The breakfast was exceptional — fresh, delicious, and offering a wide variety to start the day perfectly. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would be thrilled to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience.

A magic place with wonderful kind people.

A magic place with wonderful kind people. I was offered help on my bus for the direction of the place, the lady in the street was so lovely, and the two young men who were with their school camp program, and literally every person in the street was smiling. What a charming place. Oh I also see an elegant beautiful mother with her beautiful children in pretty dresses and outfit in the street like out of a film. What a lovely lovely scene. It was also impressive to see these gentleman with their golf things everywhere. I was impressed to see a gentleman coming onto the bus with a suitcase on a trolley, a rucksack, and with a 1.5 metre long golf bag! How he managed them all at once, I don't know. But isn't it wonderful to see a man like that! Truly a man hahaha, so strong and healthy. I even took a photo of these things on the bus without the man's face. But I dont' have time to put it here :) I came to St Andrews for a Scottish Country Dance and didn't have time to see anything except the view in front of my room. What a view! love it.

There are clean beaches, ice-cream shops, book shops, galleries, leisure centre and quirky architecture and history all around. The buses from the station left regularly to places such as Crail and Cuper (where you can get a bus to the Scottish Deer Centre from). The weather was also really great during our stay. Bit on the cooler side but dry every day.

We know St Andrews well - didn't spend much time at the beach this time. But did pop into the castle and the cathedral for old times sake....both very interesting parts of the town's history. Thoroughly recommend the museums - the one in Kinburn Park, the one on the Scores, and the one run by the Conservation Trust. Do make time to visit! Also St mary's Colege quadrangle - a lovely spot for a quiet rest. Thoroghly recommend eating in Hotel du Vin - out prix fixe dinner was excellent, priced amazingly well, and enhanced by great service. Try it!

Fabulous, all top quality.

Fabulous, all top quality. The deck is massive could have been cleaned for my arrival as it’s the first thing a guest sees. Lots of spider webs, bird droppings. Maybe a few plants would have been eye pleasing. Inside only complaints are the pillows not very comfortable or bouncy I brought my own thankfully.

St Andrews is well worth visiting, not only by golfers as it is a beautiful historic town in a wonderful coastal setting. It is easily walkable and there is access to the Fife Coastal Path for those who want longer walks. The Cathedral, the Castle and St Regulus Tower and the historic harbour are all worth a visit while for families there is the Aquarium and of course the beach. Craigtoun Park, a few miles outside town, is a great family day out with a little train on a track and a tractor pulling a second road train. There is an excellent playpark with all kinds of play equipment and a cafe. In the town itself there are many excellent restaurants ranging from Michelin starred to family friendly Zizzis and the famous ice cream of Janettas. The town is in easy reach by car of other picturesque towns in the East Neuk including Crail, Anstruther and Pittenweem and National Trust properties of Kellie Castle and Hill of Tarvit. A family tradition for us is always a round of putting on the famous Himalayas course just beside the Old Course,

Excellent location. You can't get better in St Andrews with a view of the 18th fairway and green right outside the window of our nice and spacious room. The bathroom, though luxurious, was not to my taste being a bit Victorian in style (dark green wall tiles) but it probably appeals to the American market which I guess wants something very traditional. The staff were very friendly and attentive. One of the few hotels in the area that welcomes dogs. Overall a very pleasant and hassle free stay, albeit on the pricier side.
