We have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world, the only thing that stops The Farmhouse being 5 star is there is no lift, however this is not a problem as the staff happily take luggage to and from your room on request. There is absolutely nothing not like, fabulous rooms (the suites are worth the little extra) but it’s the staff that make this hotel so special. Nothing is too much trouble, professional, smart, efficient always with a smile every single member of staff that we met. The housekeeping team need to be praised everything spotless every day. We stayed at this hotel for 18 nights so had a lot of time to find faults, there were none. And it’s worth mentioning the breakfasts are amazing, a great choice perfectly cooked. The cost of the rooms is equivalent to to a 3 star hotels around so extremely good value. To reiterate it’s the staff that made our stay so special, whenever in Guernsey this would always be our choice of hotel.

The check in process was smooth. The included breakfast was very nice. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. I also liked the location, just outside of town but an easy walk. I liked that there was a bar and restaurant onsite. There's a beautiful garden in the back that I wish I had more time to explore and relax in.

Attractive little port.

Attractive little port. Tidy and compact with many amenities and pleasant to stroll around. The castle is well worth a visit. The bus service is excellent and cheap. We actually preferred it to our stay in St Helier on jersey, the previous week.

I've been several times now and every occasion I've had a good visit! There is always something to do! I've found getting around no problem with a lot of walking and buses serving. Eating a choice of options with takeaways and dining in restaurants and enjoying whatever I decided. I enjoyed the chance to island hop with boats to Herm and Sark for a day visit

Beautiful place, good selection of shops and eateries, parking was for us very straightforward. Had a lovely atmosphere and the islanders are very friendly. We explored the whole island in a lovely hire car, but do need a sat nav to get about. The Underground Military Museum is fabulously rich in artefacts and history of German occupation.

Visit to Castle Cornet a must plus ferries to Sark & Herm. Both enjoyable for different reasons.Other museums interesting & good value. Local bus service provides good reliable service. Not worth buying day pass for £10 per person unless you are doing 7 journeys or more a day.

My favourite places are Candie Gardens and the Priaulx Library where the staff were very helpful. I ate at the hotel and also the bathing pool where the new 'cafe' is lovely and also had a meal at the Imperial Hotel where the food was also excellent (possibly a little more pricey but worth it). St Peter Port is very easy to get around on foot - i would avoid using a vehicle due to the parking. It's far easier, if you're not in walking distance, to just get the bus.
