I really had no preconceived notion about this property. I was just looking for inexpensive two room lodging. Very surprised with this property! Lovely Pub and restaurant, great food! Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and cozy.

As two mature adults looking for a quiet location to walk...

As two mature adults looking for a quiet location to walk and relax, it was perfect. It wouldn’t work for families so well due to the lack of beaches nearby for swimming etc. And younger adults might want more shops and restaurants. We enjoyed visiting Silloth, Allonby and Maryport. We bought some great fish in Maryport harbour!

A mile or so into Silloth the nearest town .

A mile or so into Silloth the nearest town . Good walk nearby. Often no access to the shore. Silloth has shops cafes and a good wet play area for children. The bread from Berry's the bakers shop is superb. Car boot sale on Sundays.
