United KingdomHotel was conveniently close to the A63, in a quiet village, staff were friendly and were ok that I arrived 11pm, breakfast was good and was served pretty quickly, my room was nice. It took me 30 mins in the morning to get to Malmo road in Hull where I was going for work, though that was in school half term.

The lodges at Sunnydene are spacious and comfortable for up to 4 adults. We always stay there when visiting family in the area. They are convenient for food and walking options. Buy food at Drewtons Farm Shop or Co-op 1 minute away, or eat out, for example at Fox & Coney or Villa d'Este Italian Elleker. Drewtons or Elleker Garden Centre are great for Brunch. Gorgeous Beverley is a favourite day out.

The evening meal in the restaurant was very nice but would have liked more on the menu. I prefered the breakfast in the huge dining hall instead of the restaurant there was not much room to get your food and it was dark in that room. Sitting out on the patio the view was beautiful of the lake.

inexpensive castle 3* hotel not meeting expectation. Upgraded to a suite which was not a suite, just a large rectangular room and the window was frosted since no view and a wall 3 feet on the other side. The health spa was great. Restaurant food was fair, nothing more. if you want to stay in a castle hotel cheaply, it is the right place but you will not be impressed if you have the suite 26. Some staff in restaurant and reception were not friendly but did deliver the service over time professionally.

Lovely accomodation set in stunning grounds.
Lovely accomodation set in stunning grounds. Health club was great to use priced at £12. Bed was very comfortable. Iron, ironing board, safe, fan and hairdryer provided in room. Didn't have breakfast as wasn't keen on price. Would certainley stay again.

Great hotel. You are actually in a castle. Great breakfast so much to choose from. Lots of lovely fresh fruit as well as a cooked breakfast. Best breakfast by far. The room was nice and the huge bed very comfy and the bathroom spotless. Will stay again.

The property was immaculate….. great facilities, the shower was amazing…. beautiful location, quiet but in close proximity to South Cave and major roads. Looking out in the morning across the paddock was a good calm way to start the day.
