Our second stay at this charming property in Oxfordshire We actually drove 100 miles out of our way to stay here as the last time we stayed it was exceptional This time was every bit as good The food was some of the best I have personally tasted, the ambience excellent and the vibe of everyone was so positive We shall be returning. A hidden gem. As a small business owner, we need to be supporting places like this so as they can continue. Well done to all and keep up the good work!!

an electic mix of very old and "modern" properties. Didn't see anything in the village other than a petrol station - just wanted to get away from our terrible accommodation at the Crazy Bear after virtually zero sleep

what was there not to like, the hotel was in the middle of no where and therefore it was really quiet. The hotel its self was really quirky and everywhere you went in the hotel you could tell that there was a lot of thought and money put in to it. The food was nothing short of just down right AMAZING!! There was not one member of staff who couldn't be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

No breakfast, poor waiting staff at the thai restaurant. And the room was sub par. Water stains on the ceiling, lights that didn't work, instructions of how to use the milk frother that didn't exist, unclean shower, no available plug sockets, and a room that was in an unattached building that had been retro fitted, sloppily to look like the decor in the real hotel

The Crazy Bear didn't really live up to our expectations for the price. We stayed in a boujee room with the stand alone bathtub. The whole hotel is very pleasant, however for the price you expect much more. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the in room coffee facilities are actually very good including a proper espresso machine and milk warmer/frother.
