Very friendly, and very comfortable just what we needed thank you

Everything was excellent, fitted us in at last minute for dinner. An excellent relaxed atmosphere. A wee bonus fresh milk in a tiny fridge for our coffee and tea in the room. Second stay on my way back from down south and will be my stopping off point for future trips to south of England. Recommend the Inn to anyone.

Excellent room, felt very welcoming. The pub underneath had a good selection of drinks.

The friendly staffs were present and available for any assistance needed. It appears the property was recently renovated, so everything is updated. Attention to details in all areas. Breakfast menu is extensive and food was tasty. Very large and comfortable living room area. The bedroom is spacious. Very good location, close to train station, town center and a lot of attractions.

Lovely rooms and lovely staff

Compliments to the chef as the breakfasts and dinners we're point on. I was especially delighted with the vegan and vegetarian options. They were absolutely tasty. The rooms were clean and tidy and exactly as expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay that much better!

I was staying alone to break up a long drive south and this was such a nice surprise. Really gorgeous room with so many nice touches and incredibly comfortable. So much character too. The breakfast was also great and all the staff really friendly. A really cool place to stay. Also, even though it’s a pub with rooms it didn’t feel like that. Everything was hotel quality, spotlessly clean and a lot of effort has gone into the rooms so they feel really special.

The add on breakfast was very nice and a value for the money. The location was perfect near all the sights. The parking was on site and convenient if booked in advance.

It is a gem of a place. Perfect for an overnight enroute to Castle Howard.

EVERYTHING!!! Emma was so helpful when checking in and for the rest of the afternoon and evening. The restaurant staff were awesome, the food was awesome and the room was stunning! Breakfast was brilliant and again,the staff were so helpful 😀 Can't recommend highly enough and would come back in a heartbeat.

The property was pristine and we were looked after by the hosts on arrival after a very minor key issue. The price of the room was reasonable compared to local alternatives and we were comfy for the night.

A very rural location, plenty of parking and easy access to the Inn, Accessability is excellent with a lift to the accommodation level. The service both in the bar and dining room was esxcellent. The served breakfast instead of a buffet was much appreciated The standard of the food is simply superior, absolute serendipity for such a remote location.
