This property had so much character. It was fun to just walk about the hotel and appreciate the charm and quirkiness of the old building. The staff was helpful and easy to work with.

breakfast excellent (I ordered off menu ---- no problems) Very friendly staff. comfortable room. (you have said I asked for a quiet room ---I don't remember asking for that. We could certainly hear the beat of the music, but I wasn't really disturbed by it)

What Guests Said About Stourbridge:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 2.0

Run down town.

Run down town. Only one restaurant that appealed to us but very good ice cream and cake shop. Were advised by locals to seek meals out of the town. Unacceptable behaviour and noise outside hotel for several hours during night - even a car horn being sounded off and on for an hour between 2 and 3 o'clock! No police presence!! However the locals we met were very friendly and easy to talk too and our visit to Kinver was excellent.

We came specifically to see our new great grandchild and they were unable to put us up. Sat Nav to get around Stourbridge was very useful. A lively town centre. Don't miss the little one-carriage railway.

Stayed at the Seven Stars which was great. Spent some time visiting Mary Stevens Park - a wonderful park for the whole community, well kept and well used. Nice cafe too. Only thing that lets the park down was the condition of the toilet facilities near the cafe. They really do need a deal of care and attention.

Stourbridge is beautiful and could easily spend a long weekend. Also Stourbridge Junction has beautiful George 🐈 and close to Warwick castle, which I didn’t visit but I will next time! I also loved the Mary Stevens park and the cafe there. Good lattes!

Stourbridge, I suspect has gone the way of many market towns - huge shopping centre nearby in Merry Hill has meant a lot of small, niche shops have just given up. Great place to explore the Black Country from!

Attractions worth visiting which can be reached by bus or car are Black country Living Museum, Kinver Rock Houses, the Glass Museum and the Clent Hills. Some websites also list attractions in Birmingham, but for them you are better off staying in Birmingham.

The lodge was exactly as shown on the photos beautiful, and set back from the main road so it was very quite..Location was the best ever ,everything on your doorstep and only 10 minutes from my sister I will definitely return . Also train line Stourbridge Junction is about 10 min walk from the house takes you into Birmingham city centre in approximately 30 mins where I can also catch my train or aeroplane back home to Glasgow no more long car journeys.

Situated close to Stourbridge Junction Station. We received a warm welcome. It's a beautiful historic pub. Clean, comfortable room. Great bar selling excellent beer. Cheese and onion cob and chips-whats not to love!! Breakfast was lovely. Service from everyone was first class. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
