staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. we had a wheelchair user and they didn't struggle to get around at all, nothing was off limits for them. we stayed twice and will definitely stay again.

The place was clean and well equipped. Good kitchen for self cooking and nice places for take away and eating out at walking distance. Good size rooms. Good location, 5 minutes from the beach. 30 minutes drive to Skegness and the same to Donna Nook.

Beautiful place. Modern decor, clean. Well finished and great facilities. Lovely small little touches like recommendations for the local area, slippers, coffee pods and small little breakfast items were very much appreciated as well as usual toiletry items.

The windmill doesn't yet have facilities for food but are planning to resume that. This isn't a problem as it's in the very centre of Alford and has at least half a dozen cafes and takeaways within a 2 minute walk or 20 seconds in the case of Evangelenes Patisserie which I recommend. Overall a great stay with great staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days with you; many thanks. We look forward to coming again. We have sent in the Booking.com review saying that we that we thoroughly recommend Manor Farm and that we were also so impressed with the Pod. We said that we thought we would sometimes like to stay B&B for the excellent breakfast and the eating out in Sutton; but we would also thoroughly look forward to staying in a Pod for the very quiet time and being able to indulge in relaxed take-aways.

S on S is a typical English (small) sea side town which is...

S on S is a typical English (small) sea side town which is most definitely improving over recent years! The new visitor Center looks interesting and the National Trust are rewilding the old golf course and building their own new visitors Center. Restaurants and bars have increased/ improved but The Baccus remains a friendly, warm favourite. We visit a few times a year for short breaks. On a sunny January afternoon the beach was delightful! Obviously in the summer it’s far busier.

A charming, quiet seaside town.

A charming, quiet seaside town. A not too strenuous walk along the prom on a Sunday morning before breakfast, was bracing. The beach was very clean as was the prom. The sea was choppy, the sun tried to shine, the beach huts helped with the seaside atmosphere, lots of community places one of which was hosting a craft fayre. Not a bucket, spade and gift shop kind of town. Rather sedate with a nice, slow pace

We love Sutton on sea it’s not a seaside resort with fairs...

We love Sutton on sea it’s not a seaside resort with fairs or flashing lights and loud music. It’s natural and great for dog walks. It’s going through some developments that will bring new dimension to it without creating a Skegness feel. The Square Pizza was very good and the Chinese Garden was excellent!

I love this place !

I love this place ! It was my annual holiday as a child and in the main very little has changed (which is its biggest attraction) Totally unspoiled (not sure about the new structure which is going up .. is this the start of new things or the loss of the real treasure of this spot .. am concerned) So much history , so much nature , if only the walks/scenery could be bottled .. pure joy !

Beautiful sandy clean beach safe for swimming. Small resort with a range of shops and amusements. Mablethorpe is close and has more facilities. There is an excellent ironmongers in Sutton with lots of things you may have forgotten to bring. Good bus service along the coast. A large leisure complex is being built on the front at Sutton and should be completed for 2025. We had a relaxing evening drink at a sea front bar and restaurant close to the pullover. Ideal for wheelchairs and mobility scooters as the promenade is smooth and accessible in both directions but becomes inaccessible all the way to Mablethorpe and to the south a diversion on to the road for a short way is needed to avoid thick sand in front of a block of apartments.
