Located in the countryside with amazing views and beautiful gardens with ponds and lots of animals and wildlife in and around the grounds like peacocks etc . The room was perfect and very spacious in this old cottage hotel which has been renovated to a high standard. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

A truly beautiful and joyful place. The staff and owner are passionate and dedicated to providing a relaxing, gorgeous and memorable experience. My father and I enjoyed it immensely and give our full recommendation to anyone excited to share a wonderful escape. A+++

Lovely, jovial hosts Gill & Martin really made my stay homey and memorable. They were always up for a quick chat and lots of to-do/see recommendations in the area. The B&B is located in a verdant rural location and only a 3 min drive into town. Well located for easy access to many of the trailheads and National Trust properties in the region. The room/bed was superbly comfortable. I truly enjoyed breakfast in the conservatory while chatting with the other guests. Breakfast options were also plentiful, flexible and delicious. Polraen was my favourite stay during my 3 weeks in England.
