The windmill doesn't yet have facilities for food but are planning to resume that. This isn't a problem as it's in the very centre of Alford and has at least half a dozen cafes and takeaways within a 2 minute walk or 20 seconds in the case of Evangelenes Patisserie which I recommend. Overall a great stay with great staff.

What Guests Said About Trusthorpe:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 10

Beach was flat and sandy.

Beach was flat and sandy. Quite natural. its a windy area so be prepared. Dogs are allowed on the beach at this place, but there was no lifeguard and swimming was not recommended. The children's pool in Mablethorpe was great. Trusthorpe is a quiet area but Mabelthorpe is close.

Not much to do in Trusthorpe but it is ideally situated between Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe. Visited the Bacchus Hotel several times while in Sutton. Good food and nice surroundings. Had breakfast at The Coffee Pot cafe in Mablethorpe which does great breakfasts and offers exceptional value

My mother and I returned to the area because my mother use to live in Sutton-on-sea and it was a trip for her to see her old neighbours. It is quieter than Mablethorpe and Chapel-st-Leonard’s but has lovely beaches and you can walk along the sea front all the way to Mablethorpe. In Sutton there are a few shops and eateries and in the summer there is a paddling pool for youngsters.
