Everything was like a true old Scottish hotel! It was the best place that we stayed in our 2 weeks in Scotland. We all said that it was exceptional.

Best overnight stay we have had in ages, lovely hotel, gorgeous decor, comfy bar area and pretty outside terrace for drinks if the sun appears. Breakfast was a delicious treat which we didn’t expect but thoroughly enjoyed. Will return without hesitation soon.

the accommodation was clean tidy and the facilities were...

the accommodation was clean tidy and the facilities were more than adequate for our requirements. the sofa bed was not the comfiest but we knew what we were getting when we booked. the host was just the best. my wife suffered a severe migraine the following morning and she allowed us a much later check out to give my wife time to recover, she refused to accept further payment. also met us on arrival to ensure we did not get lost. facilities very close at hand too. we ate at the hotel next door but were advised to book as hotel gets very busy. it turned out to be sound advice. we had our in laws with us no children.

what we liked the best was the welcoming friendly staff of...

what we liked the best was the welcoming friendly staff of the Lock Tummel hotel, the walk in the grounds round loch with benches placed at lovely view points, the run to Aberfeldy is beautiful scenery,as is the run to Rannoch station where the tearoom has a great reputation-well deserved for its food and baking the whole area of Tummel Bridge is lovely
