What Guests Said About Weaverthorpe:

Beautiful part of the country. Quaint little village.

Beautiful part of the country. Quaint little village. Did not get to visit the pub as there was a power cut when we arrived. Short drive to Scarborough if you fancy a stroll on the beach. Meadowside is an absolute gem of a place to stay. The host is very gracious and the extra mile he goes to for his guests is superb. You will not be disappointed when you book.

We selected the cheapest room as it was an over night stay.

We selected the cheapest room as it was an over night stay. The photos made it look bigger than it was . Would recommend paying the extra for one of their other rooms (which we have stayed in and are far better.) The evening menu was more expensive than the normal pub food but was beautifully cooked and in lovely surroundings either taken in the restaurant or the pub

Many local attractions close by if travelling by car.

Many local attractions close by if travelling by car. Both pubs do not open until 4pm at this time of year so had to go elsewhere to find somewhere for lunch. Found a lovely place at Potter Brompton called Sally Middlewood Farm Shop & Tea Room, very good and worth a visit.

The hotel is set in a lovely village location in the Yorkshire Wolds. There is free off road parking adjacent to the hotel. The full English breakfast was excellent. The restaurant menu looks excellent, and is definitely more 'fine dining' than 'pub grub'.

Weaverthorpe is a lovely quiet Wolds village away from the business of the coast. We stayed in the champagne rooms. They are comfortable and well serviced. The cooked breakfast is generous and delicious.
