Staff was very helpful and friendly

Lovely inn and pub near Oxford. Spacious, clean rooms and fantastic breakfast. Wished we could have stayed longer. Owner is a sweetheart!

Food and facility were outstanding, and Staff was brilliant. Best experience so far on a whirlwind tour of UK!! Cheers to all of their crew made it feel like a home -

This hotel is a great base for exploring Oxford. We loved our one night stay. The beds were comfy, the showers were great, the room was a good size, and the breakfast was perfect. Great quiet location!

The man running the hotel is super sweet and was willing to help with anything I needed.

Room was so clean. Facilities are not old and shabby. And staff are so kind.

The 𝚛𝚘𝚘𝚖𝚜 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚌𝚒𝚘𝚞𝚜, 𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚌𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚗, 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚠𝚊𝚕𝚔-𝚒𝚗 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚠𝚎𝚛 𝚋𝚊𝚝𝚑𝚛𝚘𝚘𝚖 and beautifully decorated, making 𝚢𝚘𝚞 feel very welcoming. 𝚆𝚎 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚢𝚎𝚍 𝚊𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚛𝚘𝚘𝚖𝚜 𝚕𝚘𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍 𝚕𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚕, 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚌𝚑 𝚖𝚊𝚔𝚎𝚜 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚢 𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎. The host is very friendly, helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this 𝚑𝚘𝚝𝚎𝚕 for anyone looking to stay in 𝙾𝚡𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝚊𝚝 𝚊 𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚙𝚛𝚒𝚌𝚎. It truly exceeded my expectations!

the environment is very peaceful and quite, and the breakfast is lovely and beyond my expectations.

Very friendly stuff, good rooms (we take two). SPA bit smaller than expected, but clean and in general good, specially considering price..

The landscape views and facilities, the calmness and tranquility were simply amazing!

We love the convenience to the city of the property and the comfortable surroundings. also the access to walking along the river.

Boutique on the High right across from All Souls, the Radcliffe, Bodleian, etc and 5 min walk to the Broad. Modern room and bathroom facilities, my rate with breakfast included in a very good attached restaurant.

So quirky and different from anywhere I have stayed before.

The location of the hotel is in Merton street , east gate , in the middle of the charming Oxford and the historical architectured universities, museums, churches and libraries. Easy access to shops, restaurants and touristic places. The Hop on and hop off tourism agency is few steps away , to make a sightseeing tour and get all the information needed. I highly recommend this hotel stay! It was an unforgettable experience !

Evelyn, thank you for welcoming us back again. The place is still as charming and well-kept as before. The addition of the “social” living room is a nice touch. The room is well equipped; relaxing and the bed was super comfy.. we were late in arriving this time, the self-check in suits us well because didn’t feel pressured to check in at certain time, and you are always just a phone call away.
