A great rabbit warren of a house but a marvelous hotel! We didn't get to use the spa facilities and because it was deep in the countryside we really did have to eat at the in house restaurant. We would have liked to extend our stay but it was booked out! Plenty of parking and lovely gardens and surrounds. Within easy distance of Bletchley Park.

A great place to base yourself if attending a conference in nearby MK or when visiting Stowe , Waddesdon or Bletchley park. The Indian restaurant the Bengal and the local inn, the Bell were both excellent.

The weekend we were there coincided with the farmers market on the Sunday, which was lovely to experience. We visited Hogshaw Farm locally, and then went onto The Canal Museum, Stoke Bruerne and had a canal ride and ice-cream, visiting NT Stowe gardens the next day.

Winslow - full of history and very friendly people.

Winslow - full of history and very friendly people. Our host, Jeff, was very helpful, friendly and made us feel part of his family. Lovely local food - a home full of friendship, flowers and joy. Thank you Jeff for making our stay in Winslow so special. We visited Ascott, Claydon, Stowe and Waddesdon NT places of fame and beautiful gardens. An evening bell ringing with the local band was very enjoyable.

We only drove through Winslow itself on our journey, but it looked like a lovely place, and another time we would love to stop and explore. There seemed to be plenty of pubs where we coukd get a meal out if needed but we were attending Towersey festival so we were able to buy meals on the site anyway.

The old stables is very conveniently located in the centre of Winslow close to several restaurant/takeaways. Although the property has no allocated parking, there are plenty of parking spots nearby. We even managed to park a small horse box within 50 yards of property each evening. Jeff is very welcoming and flexible and was easy to contact via text making our stay very easy. The room and en-suite were spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable.

Comfortable, very clean and quiet. There’s a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave along with all the cutlery and crockery needed to prepare some meals etc. The location is ideal, quiet yet the delightful town of Winslow is within walking distance. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. There’s private parking for a car behind automatic gates. In all a very comfortable stay.

One of my very best B&B experiences. Jeff was very helpful in letting me check in early because I was attending an all day event elsewhere. The room was delightful. I loved the cottage. Winslow was a joy to visit and breakfast was great. If I am in the area again, I will definitely try to stay here again.
