The place is very well maintained, big room, comfortable bed, extra facilities: iron, hair dryer. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, The breakfast was delicious, we could choose from a variety of breakfast types. . The location is lovely if you are looking for a quiet place.. The small, charming villages of the Cotswolds are easy to reach, also the Romanesque city Bath.

Jo, the publican, was very friendly when we checked in. She gave us a better, ground floor room for my disabled grandma (I did not even have to ask). All staff in the pub were very helpful both at dinner and breakfast. The room has recently been refurbished, everything was very clean and new. Very good value for money for the 3 of us. Good food in the pub at dinner. Tasty full English breakfast, with fruit, cereals and yogurt also available.

I like that the breakfast is included in my stay. There are a variety of selection - from English breakfast and croissants to cereals. The coffee machine also brewed fresh beans every selection. The location is also another win for this hotel. It's right into the town center/high street. It's only walking distance to the markets, train station, and bus station.

The location was great. It was near the train station, several pubs, stores, restaurants and walking distance to the football stadium. The room was clean and cozy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.(Especially the breakfast crew.) The free breakfast was great.

The hotel is very clean, and staff are very nice. I enjoyed the breakfast looking on the garden that's make me relax every morning and the place is very quiet. I recommend this if you want a relaxing place.

So cozy and welcoming. The rooms were elegantly remodeled, the bed, linen and pillows were more than comfortable. Even the towels were so luxurious! But most of all we enjoyed meeting and chatting with the sweet family that runs it, especially Matilda!
