Amazing location for hikes in the Crete mountains. The couple that owns the hotel are incredibly nice and caring. Led us to the hotel right after we got off our bus and made us food once our stay was over before we left Fourfouras. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had.

Perfect location in the mountains that could be a base for a short drive day trips to Arkady Monastery, multiple gorges and beaches on the north coast. There are walking distance Supermarket and local tavernas. Place is fully renovated with spacious 3 bedrooms and Huge bathroom. Air conditioner was in each room. This was first time after 12 days of travel we feel comfy on new matrasses and sparkling high-end linens. Yet we have no chance – all tableware was new as well. Host went an extra mile and provided six types of water/soda and coffee. We really like staying in Casa Moderna and highly recommend it.

We had such a wonderful stay. Everyone visiting Crete should head to the Amari valley- and stay at Elia Meronas. It was beautiful and a great break from beaches and touristy locations. My daughter says it was her favorite part of her trip and her favorite place she has ever stayed. What sets it apart is really Maria- she is truly a wonderful host - she makes you feel at home and can tell you all the wonderful things to do in the area. The food was also amazing! Maria is magic!

This was an oasis of a place. The most gorgeous hotel I have ever stayed in. From its history to the service to the seriously oppressive beauty of this place, it was almost too much to bear. The hotel is surrounded by nature and gorgeous greenery and so it smells incredible. I kept telling myself all my senses were overwhelmed. The rooms were quiet and the beds so comfortable. I slept so deeply and I normally have terrible insomnia... It was so hard to leave. Depressing actually. This place is like art came to live and you are living in it. Its beauty is captivating and warm. I loved the amazing hike you can do from the Arkady Monastery to the hotel. You can arrange with the hotel to be dropped off at monastery and then you hike back thru gorgeous paths and gorges. Breathtaking views and private. The staff at the hotel offered world class service and attention. They were wonderful and so easy to talk to and happy to assist with any request. The breakfast was a bounty of delicious fresh locally-sourced healthy foods. Overall, this was an unbelievable experience. This hotel should be in everyone’s bucket list. Thank you Kapsalianá for the most incredible experience.

Beautiful views absolutely stunning! Lovely room very well decorated, cozy and romantic. Nice large space with a big comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast served by the owners son who was a lovely chap very knowledgeable and laid back.

Palazzo Greco offers an outdoor pool and elegant rooms with the charm of a boutique hotel. Its hillside location features stunning views of Mediterranean Sea and Mountain of Ideon.
