Perfect and optimal spot for exploring Konavle and surrounding cities like Cavtat, Dubrovnik and Kotor. Charming, affordable and comfy accommodation, with a secured parking spot that is located inside the property yard (off the street). Hosts are amazing, they will make your stay extra pleasurable. It's probably the best value for money we ever had. Konavle are underatted, days can be spent exploring the region and enjoying in local family oriented restaurants, that serve a proper domestic food enriched with a professional touch. In general, Konavle shows how agro tourism should look. We are going to return as a family, we hope at the same accommodation.

I had the most perfect stay at Ana’s beautiful cottage in Gruda. It had everything I needed and came with the warmest welcome. Ana was so kind and thoughtful, she even took me into the village for dinner and gave me a ride to the airport the next morning. Truly the best place I’ve ever stayed!

Breakfast was great! Close to airport for me for the one night stay but would recommend staying longer if visiting Dubrovnik. Would need a car or not sure if bus goes by but on the main road. Room was very clean both stays and restaurant on premises very good.

Very close to Dubrovnik airport, a few minutes walk, so convenient for us to catch an early flight. The 3 bedroom apartment is spacious and clean with two bathrooms. Nice open concept for living room kitchen and dining room. The host is very friendly. We are happy to stay in this apartment.

We were sad because only stay one night on the way to Montenegro. The Apartment parking is convenient, ...Is very modern and super clean. Everything was provided by the owner, as good as 5 star hotel, you name it ,will have it,from coffee maker with coffee provided, milk, enough towers, pillows, toiletries, nice bathroom, beds. Every details items. Nice sofa. Best of all is the jacuzzi with 39 degree hot water at the terrace and yet can view airplane took off from nearby airport.....off course there are some sounds, however with double glazed window. Sounds were reduce to minimum and moreover after 9 pm, no plane flying cause dubrovik airport is small....To those whom are traveling to Montenegro,this is the best stop to take a rest. And also to those whom are flying off via dubrovik airport.....opposite. there is a good size groceries store as well.... Thumb 👍 to the owner for providing suck a nice place for holiday people .....

Gruda is a great location and the village has everything you need. Less than 10 minutes from the airport and is the perfect location for visiting Duborvnik, Cavtat and other amazing places like Molunat.

A car is needed to explore the area's attractions. Two restaurants, a pizza place, numerous bars, grocery stores are all within walkable distances. Mountain villages, wineries, a castle, olive groves, and steep well marked trails are nearby.

This is our second visit and the good restaurants we visited...

This is our second visit and the good restaurants we visited in 2016 have been added to with a couple of extra restaurants and bars but it is still very quiet. It is a drive to Dubrovnik and while the Konavle valley is beautiful, there isn't a lot of tourist things to do in the immediate area. If you want tourist attractions you will have to go North to Dubrovnik or South into Montenegro. If you want a relative quiet, relaxed pool holiday though, it is great.
