What really stands out is how the owner personally makes sure you're comfortable and enjoying your stay. The rooms are comfy and just what you need to unwind. The highlight for me was the snorkeling; it's some of the best I've ever done, with crystal-clear water and incredible marine life just off the jetty. Plus, the WiFi is surprisingly good for such a remote place, hitting around 30mbps, which is great for staying connected. Just a heads-up, due to the location, the internet might drop during storms, but that's a small price to pay for the beauty and peace you get here. Overall, Vogelkopf Resort is an excellent choice for an stress-free vacation with a bit of adventure and a lot of natural beauty."

Very close to harbor and pick up was free. Beautiful large room with comfortable beds. Great warm shower. Large windows looking to the mangroves. Beautiful and peaceful. Great restaurant attached to facility with outstanding service and food. Owner brought us coffee out on the long attached community deck every morning. We enjoyed sitting out there on many occasions. Sunsets are beautiful. Very nice family run homestay. They can arrange outings. Bird hike, blue river, etc. We did not have any issues with mosquitoes or sand flies. Nice walks to see locals folks. We stayed 3 nights.
