Aranka Tempasan is located in the most beautiful village overlooking rice fields and palm trees. The whole property is so lovely, designed with attention to detail, boasting the most beautiful plants and a garden. At dusk, there are dragonflies everywhere. The bungalow was spacious, with a sleek outdoor bathroom and a patio that directly overlooks the rice fields. Watching the sunrise over the rice fields was surreal! The host, Lina, is so kind and she, Gilan and the entire staff made sure our stay was perfect! They arranged a walking tour through the rice fields and a nearby weaver‘s villages for us with a local guide, which was super interesting! The kitchen staff even cooked special vegetarian indonesian dishes for us that weren’t on the menu. The jackfruit curry was divine! We had such an amazing time here and got to take in some of the natural beauty of Lombok. Thank you so much for having us! We will be back on our next Lombok trip!

Everthing was great! Fathul, the host, took good care of me from the start till the end. We became very good friends. The place is a lovely little oasis surrounded by bamboo forest, a river, super nice garden that Fathul has built himself and cure cats... It's super nice local hub for him and his friends. Good to also note that Fathul offered me to take to the waterfalls and the monkey forest along with some other craft workshops. It was amazing to go to the waterfall! Also he cooks so good... He's a young, trustworthy person who is also very friendly and modest. He tries to make his guests feel comfortable.

We booked the homestay last minute. But Jar the host was very welcoming along with his wife and children. They were so hospitable and friendly. We also had delicious home cooked meals every day. The rooms are basic, no aircon but clean. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking to experience what daily life is like in Lombok

Beautiful location. Staff were friendly and very accommodating . Zul took us on a walk through the paddies and village and taught us so much about life in Loyok. He was fantastic with our children making them necklaces and kazoos using plants. A wonderful and memorable time spent in this special village.

We wish we had more time. This was a great stay. The villas are locally owned and operated, and the staff is exceptional. The villas are new, very clean, and comfortable. Our kids had a great time swimming in the pool and playing Jenga, which made it feel relaxed and family-friendly. We also took a tour to see local handicrafts. I am usually skeptical of these kinds of tours, but this one was genuinely a treat. Each craft and skill that was shared helped us truly appreciate the effort behind the work of each artisan collective. The kids loved weaving baskets, shaping pottery, and seeing how weaving is done. The artists were incredibly generous with their time, and it would be a shame to visit the area without meeting the people behind the goods they sell. We especially loved the hand-woven fabric. It was too beautiful to pass up.

Absolutely fantastic in every aspect. Picturesque location by the ricefields, beautiful woden cabin and an elegantly decorated bathroom. Egol is an excellent host and a great tour guide who made sure we had the best time with them. His sister is an excellent cook as well! I' d rate this accomodation with 11 if I could.

Great communication when my flight was rescheduled four hours later and driver checking in with me to make sure smooth meet up. Lovely family feel. Runs on island time so don't forget to slow down. The Alam arranged all my tours. Saw two types of monkey in the forest. Big walk to take in the rice paddies. I even volunteered to help the ladies plant rice on our walk around, so fun.Stop off at the snack shack then off to the waterfall. In the afternoon I did the big 4 waterfall tour and after spent time learning to weave. I cried the first sunset because the beauty of the area is so special with Rinjani in the background. No mosquitoes! Even with so much water rushing down the mountain everywhere. Very friendly and helpful.
