Thoughtfully appointed. Beautiful, comfy bed. Amazing blackout, motorized shade. Shower head/pressure was way too good. Hair dryer included a diffuser (if you know, you know). I booked late and Sabijn was so helpful with check in.

Tom was amazing! He gave us tons of recommendations on sites to see during our stay. He was such a great host and made the stay super comfortable. The rooms were extremely clean and had lovely decorations throughout the house. I would recommend this B&B to anyone travelling into the area, especially with having such a hospitable host like Tom.

Staff were all very friendly, the room was very clean(room service every day!). The breakfast was just amazing — fresh berries, omelette, yoghurt, toasts, fresh juices. I was very happy with everything and will definitely stay there whenever I'll go to Kinsale again.

The city was great, very laid back and I loved being right...

The city was great, very laid back and I loved being right on the water. We visited a Kinsale Mead Company and did a tour and had a really great time, and learned a lot of interesting facts. We even purchased bottles of mead to take home with us.

Kinsale is a lovely little town, I actually got the bus from Cork airport which only took about half an hour, and dropped me off a minutes walk from No.1 Townhouse. It's a pretty little town, lots of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, it's just a shame shops are closed on a Sunday during the summer, I'm sure me and my friends would have spent way more money had they been open, they're not all closed though, just a few!

The hotel we stayed in was kinsale hotel and spa. It was an amazing hotel. I would totally recommend it. But kinsale in general, I was very disappointed. The Charles fort was closed the 2 days we stayed in kinsale. We were recommended the old head light house being a famous tourist destination but when we went there we were told its a private property. I told the guard that it was on the tourist to visit list and he said he knows but we still cant go. I visited the kinsale village as a few people recommended it. I was told the food was quite dear and its very true. But what I hated more is that a few restaurants didnt open until 3pm and most boutiques closes at 3.30pm. The village was quite as I expected from all the hype. There are a good few scenery but thats it. I don't thing I will visit kinsale again. I do wish I went to the west so maybe next time.

A mix of good food, loud pubs and a disappointing harbor. The cliffs just outside of town are fantastic, could have spent all day watching the waves crash and the seabirds fly. So much "off the beaten track" wonders within an hours drive. Well worth a visit. It isn't really a quiet little town but its quaint and colorful. A few too many tourists for my taste.

Kinsale is a beautiful town, with a great variety of restaurants, bars and attractions. We were there for 3.5 days and wish we were there longer. We will definitely return. We visited the Old Head signal tower, using the 253 bus from Kinsale. Very interesting museum. We walked along the Scilly walk to the Charles Fort which was wonderful, you could spend many hours there and take a picnic. Many walks we need to do.

Kinsale is a very cute, small town.

Kinsale is a very cute, small town. Very easy to walk around and explore. Dining was difficult the first night (Saturday) with everything booked but we ended up at The Blue Room which is part of Fishy Fishy. It was excellent.

What a fantastic experience of Irish hospitality! From the minute we checked in, we were made feel welcomed with reception team giving us some tips and suggestions for local exploration. The room was extremely comfortable with great views of Kinsale harbour. We dined in their sister hotel, Blue Haven, just a 2 min walk away which was incredible and full of local inspired dishes. Will be back again on our next visit to colourful Kinsale.
