What Guests Said About Rossnowlagh:

Rosnowlagh beach is amazing and it is the main attraction.

Rosnowlagh beach is amazing and it is the main attraction. Compared with other beaches in County Donegal, rosnowlagh can have lots of people on it compared to others that are empty. The beach is amazing, and you have smugglers creek on top of the cliff for food and drink, and then you have the sand house hotel if you want luxury. They also have a great bar. It is all dead in the winter months though if you want a bit of solitude, but it is a very special place, where the pace of life is slow.

Great beach and we got the weather which was amazing.

Great beach and we got the weather which was amazing. Beautiful views and could have spent a few days just on the beach with a bbq and our own supplies for the day. There is a food truck on the beach which we didnt use but handy if you dont want to cook for yourself.

Rossnowlagh is a beautiful place!

Rossnowlagh is a beautiful place! The beach is just stunning on a sunny day! We visited easter week, but unfortunately it was very quiet as there wasnt much open! We visited Smugglers when it opened mid week and loved that we could bring our dog! The food is lovely but booking is essential! We also visited the Bakery Shack which had lovely coffee and cakes and an area to sit outside. There is a little shop - Finnegans which was handy for bread and milk and we also visited Castle Farm which the kids loved! It is very close to Ballyshannon, Bundoran and Donegal Town which also had a few dog friendly places to eat!

We have been visiting Rossnowlagh for years.

We have been visiting Rossnowlagh for years. It’s a fabulous location, beach is stunning, local shops have all necessary foods / groceries and several restaurants all of which are lovely. This time we visited we ate each night in Smugglers Creek and couldn’t fault it.

The location is outstanding, near to the beach, places to dine. We stayed for four night as we had been invited to a family gathering. The accommodation was situation, in a quiet locate, but near activities. We ate at nearby Smugglers Creek and the Gaslight. Perfect meals with outside seating.

If you are driving and staying outside of Rossnowlagh then you obviously won’t have a drink. My advice to those that wish to go into the resort is that taxis are good BUT…BEWARE… It will be almost impossible to get a taxi on a Sunday night. We got caught out and only the kind offer of a lift by the barman in the Smugglers Creek in to drive us back to our accommodation saved the day. Otherwise we would have been stranded.

I loved the peaceful setting and the beautiful coastal surroundings. The pods were exceptionally clean, modern, and very well thought out, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—close to Rossnowlagh beach yet wonderfully quiet and private. The outdoor space was perfect for parking, and the attention to detail made the stay feel both cosy and special. It was a great place to unwind and switch off

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Sea Crest B&B in Rossnowlagh! The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with stunning views of the beach. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. There was complimentary breakfast. We'd highly recommend Sea Crest B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway. 5-star experience

We had a lovely stay in Gaslight Inn apartments. The view from the apartment is spectacular. We really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant downstairs. There is a pub right beside the apartment, which had great live music. Rossnowlagh Beach is great for surfing and is right beside the apartment. We will return
