Seamus is a wonderful host with so many interesting stories to tell. My husband and I truly enjoyed the warm welcome, the comfortable bed in a very clean room with ensuite bathroom, and the nice freshly cooked breakfast, with the best coffee I've had in Ireland. We had the chance to learn more about the Irish language, culture, and history, and because of this, we leave Ireland enriched. We would stay at Chez Sè again, when we'll visit this area again in the future. It is well located for Newgrange and other historical sites, as well as the coastal area, and is on the train line to both Dublin and Belfast.

The location was fine and easy to find.

The location was fine and easy to find. The staff need to be more interested in the customers. One was very kind to give my husband ice for an injury he had sustained elsewhere but the breakfast and the service was poor considering it was quiet. The soundproofing between the rooms was poor..say no more!

The hotel was lovely and the pub had a lovely atmosphere.

The hotel was lovely and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. There is no where to walk to have a family meal you would have to drive or take a taxi which was inconvenient but we did get a take away. If we were to stay a second night we would have had to drive to have dinner. Also as it was a weekend you would need to book dinner in the next town as they booked up quickly.

Loved our hosts Michael and Janet..absolutely fantastic people...Michael gave us great advice about where to visit in the surrounding area and Janets full irish breakfast was to die for absolutely beautiful...Great bar in the hotel too and Anne Marie and Jay were lovely people running it ...the owner was a lovely lady too excellent all round.

Check in was easy, the gated hotel courtyard and carpark was welcoming with the old stone walls of the coach house lending some charm to the exterior of the hotel. Our room was warm and the shower pressure was excellent. Staff very friendly.

We were travelling for work so this hotel met our needs for the night. The room was super comfortable - great bed, great shower (and water pressure). Breakfast was okay, not a huge amount of options but food was tasty. Staff were lovely!

We were ill when we arrived at the hotel, having only booked one night's accommodation. The staff were exceptionally kind and caring and we were able to book extra nights and stay until we had recovered.
