Appears to be a nice place though we didn't go much around the city. We visited the Triveni Sangam - which was a great experience. We also visited the Ram temple at Ayodhya, which too was a very memorable trip with great darshan of the Lord !

Please be cautious of touts and boat contractors who may charge exorbitant rates. There are no government-fixed prices for boat rides to the Sangam for snan (holy bathing). Information regarding standard rates is generally not available at the site.
It is advisable to carry small denominations of cash for making payments to the boatman or for other minor expenses related to bathing. The roads leading to the Ghat are narrow, so it is recommended to use an e-rickshaw for convenient travel. People in the area, especially those away from the Ghat (bank of the Ganges), are generally humble and welcoming.

People by n large were cooperative.
People by n large were cooperative. It made our stay interesting. Boat ride was excellent. Boat staff was very helpful. We enjoyed a dip in Sangam. Food was good. We relished. Weather was favourable. We enjoyed our overall stay n journey.

We booked room for 2 days but i stayed 1 knight only i asked...
We booked room for 2 days but i stayed 1 knight only i asked returned money for 1 knight they not returned my money gone waist at least he returned half money i asked where i signature for vacanting the room they said not necessary.

The Swaraj Bhavan is must see to recollect memories of Independence movement and to know more about Gandhi family .
The Triveni sangam is not worth as the local boat owners are just looting the tourists . No organised structure for boat rentals or on hire by the UP govt

The Sangam visit was bad experience as there are no Govt...
The Sangam visit was bad experience as there are no Govt control facility to see the union of the three rivers and it's easy to be fooled by the local boat owners or third parties which one I was, therefore I recommend not to pay visit alone and they demand for tips which was unexpected, it's like mandate to give tips. Please, Govt must intervene for tourist safer as well proper fare to experience the Sangam. Thanks.

The breakfast was poor. I expected from the advert that the hotel was near the railway station. It was miles away. The sheets were dirty , the mattress should have been thrown out years ago and the hot water was negligible and the plumbing was abysmal and the the urinal was blocked. I had to pay for the hotel in rupees so I need a refund on my money.

Great Food. Great Ambience.
Well preserved Heritage Property where our Late Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji also stayed for almost 4 years in Allahabad (Now Prayagraj). We are fortunate enough to have the chance stay in the same Room named as Shastri Suite.
