This homestay is located in a village Kudeng Thymmai, Host is helpful, Home cooked meals are available at a very reasonable price, Room was clean, Recommended to carry a Jio Sim for internet Airtel connection has very weak signals, Host Diana is nice, There's a food place called Anju food corner nearby who can provide tea snacks at a very reasonable price and taste is nice too. My experience was fantastic, I took a chance to see the village and people were welcoming. Only recommendation is to reach by 5 PM in the evening else you might lost your way.

Ben was very helpful and he helped us with dinner when things were closed. Room was clean and comfortable according to its price. Quiet and peaceful location. You can walk to Mawlynnong from this village and it takes about 20 minutes of walk.

Dawki is famous for the the clean river and boat ride.

Dawki is famous for the the clean river and boat ride. Near by destinations are also interesting. Will advise to study in advance and plan the trip. A good SUV is recommended as the road in some places are not good.

Best time to visit, as per local guides, is from November to...

Best time to visit, as per local guides, is from November to December and Latest upto 15th January. Morning is the best time for boating, air is pure and cool. The look is serene, with ripples in the water. However, based on our visit, we suggest not to stay in Dawki, but maybe Shillong or some other nearby areas, where good hotels are available. Boating is fun. For going from Guwahati, we took the route through Jowai, and the route itself is an icing on the cake for visit to Dawki.
