Kondai Lip is a very nice little resort close to Alleppey and Kochi and about half an hour by Taxi form Marari beach. The resort itself is calm, surrounded by waters and nicely maintained. The staff were super nice and helped us with organizing rides to the beaches and the airport. They also offer a complementary boating through the backwaters and/or to a nearby beach, which was a very welcome afternoon activity. Water was provided every day and the in-house restaurant is also very good, with a tasty and proper Keralan breakfast and dinner options.

Our stay at Lawrence Aqua Stay was truly magical. The riverside setting is peaceful, beautiful and the hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The surprise anniversary cake arranged by the host and their family made us feel genuinely celebrated. We also enjoyed the calm and scenic boat ride they suggested. The stay was spacious and comfortable, it was well worth the money! The host and their parents were hospitable and served really great home cooked food. They had thought about and put very thoughtful details and provisions in the house that it makes it feel like home. Would recommend this stay to anyone if they need a place not too far from Fort Kochi!
