It was really an amazing experience. Location, facility, food, staffs and the view from the facility….everything was outstanding. Food was very very tasty, we have called their Chef and given a salute to him, as it was so so yummy. And of course the Management, they were very supportive and very humble. The view from room itself was superb, especially from the Attic, both nights we all slept in the Attic only, and we enjoyed the beauty of nature very well from there. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Kids also enjoyed very well, actually they wanted to stay few more days there, they played Table tennis (ping pong), cricket and utilized their other kids play areas as well. Totally it was a very successful trip for us.

The location is perfect for a nice fun filled vacation with family and friends. It is just about 30km from Ooty, The best thing we liked is we were just minutes away from the safari rides, so many places to visit. The home cooked food is awesome. The host is a great cook and was always happy to serve different varieties. We visited first week of May but the weather was pleasant and rained everyday for about 15-20 minutes between 3-4pm, which made the evenings much cooler. I am looking forward to my trip back here again. You will definitely enjoy your stay here!!!

The property is near Masinagudi but if you are not used to travelling often, you might feel a bit uneasy as it is in the middle of no-where. But again, we don't want civilization to creep in nature. It is near Ooty but still a well kept secret.

The route is very scenic, you'll get to see several wild animals on the route. There are good restaurants in the city. The climate is also very good, but try not to roam around at night as elephants might be there. Also, due to less pollution you can see stars clearly at night.

Great location for people wanting to experience stay in...

Great location for people wanting to experience stay in forest reserve. However a little out of way. Food choices in the hotel were limited but adequate and well cooked. Hot water was a plus. Masinadudi is not a place for much sightseeing other than the hit or miss safaris. Also no city center to hang out. So hotel or safari are only choices. Overall a unique and different experience from standard hotels. I do have to commend the staff for their helpfulness and curtesy.

Peaceful village adjacent to the forest- full of scenic locations and serenity. Mudumalai and Bandipur are very nearby so that you can plan your jungle safaris Ooty is also not so far and the route to ooty is filled with scenic spots.

It's been a wonderful stay for 2 nights with my family and friends at Tamarind property, Masinagudi. Property owner Mr. Kumar and Manager Mr. Manu were very helpful and sweet. The property has a beautiful garden with green lush landscape facing Nilagiri mountain.The property serves only Veg food including breakfast. But, They arrange non veg homemade foods for us from outside at request. We look forward to visiting them again on our next visit.

It's an awesome place to stay over in the middle of the Mudumalaii forest . Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. What more can you ask for ! Safari was adventurous, we spotted a Tiger. So overall worth visiting Masinagudi. Looking forward to coming back again.
